Hey.. I Tought on a way to meet everybody here a lil bit more...
let's answer this little questions and let's meet a little bit more:
  1. Where are you from?
  2. How Long would it takes you to go to WDW (CAR or AIRPLANE)
  3. When is your next visit to WDW?

Have Fun!

Hello

I'm from Miami, Fl, which means I'm only 3 1/2 hrs away from Orlando, my favorite place on earth (yay!)

And...I'm going this Fri-Sun

1. Winston-Salem, NC
2. 1 1/2 hour by plane and 10 hrs to drive
3. We are there now!!!:cool1:

What a super thread!

I am from Augusta, GA.

It takes us about 8 hours (with frequent potty breaks)

We will be in Fl next week, so we are going to do a "day trip" to Downtown and a late breakfast at CM.

Our next BIG trip is Thanksgiving 2008:dance3:

1. Birmingham, AL
2. About 9 hours driving
3. Soon I hope as we are deciding whether or not to drive down for SWW - have been to all of them so far

...
Does anybody else have a dry-erase board in their house counting down the days till their next trip? Mine is on the fridge...only 334 days till the cruise!!

Not on a dry-erase board but do have a calendar on the fridge that we use to count our trips down on! :thumbsup2

Where are you from?Miami, FL
How Long would it takes you to go to WDW (CAR or AIRPLANE)?3-4 hours
When is your next visit to WDW? June 23, 2007:banana:

I live in Durham, NC.

It takes 9.5 hours by car & 1.5 hours by plane to get to WDW.

I go back in 17 days! :woohoo:

1) I am from Chautauqua County, NY (I am not naming exactly where, it's small enough as it is).
2) By car it is like 18 - 22 hours depending on how fast you drive; by plane it can take anywhere from 3 hours (give or take) to 6 hours if you have a crappy flight with a long layover.
3) December 2008!

windsor, Ontario
2.5 hrs by plane, and although I have never drove before I know pple who have and it takes about 22 - 24 hrs non-stop, only for gas and bathroom breaks,etc....
and I am leaving in less than 24 hrs for Disney!!!!!!!!!

From Richardson, Tx (suburb of Dallas)
It takes us about 21 hrs to drive with stops. We usually take 2.5 days to get there and drive straight through to get home.
DD12, DD10 and I arrive July 4 at Pop and DH, DS7 and DD3 join us at a FW cabin July 8!!

Love this thread!
Phoenix, AZ
4 hours 20 minutes to fly.
Next trip Sept 6-10, 2007 for Pin Trading :cool1:

Southern California

About 5-6 hours by plane, plus a layover of some sort. No idea how long to drive, and there is no way I will ever be finding out!

9/22-9/30 VWL - First DVC trip home! But I can go to Disneyland anytime, it is only 20 minutes away!:cool1:

East Suburbs of St. Paul, Minnesota

3 Hours by plane

Unless I come into money, not until 2010!!! YIKES!:sad1:

Upstate NY
18 hrs non stop by car (just stopping for gas and potty breaks) or 2.5 hrs by plane.
Next trip coming up this Aug.

Which "part" of upstate NY are you from? Where I am from, everywhere above NYC is "upstate." I personally do not consider Chautauqua Co "upstate" because I am less than 20 miles away from the PA border, but I am just curious.

1. Buffalo, NY
2. 2.5 hours on a non-stop SWA flight, 24 hours or so by car (not planning on doing that again until I move!).
3. Unfortunately, after visiting WDW 4-5 times per year with my AP, I cannot visit until at least January. I am finishing my master's in December, and will start applying to PR and Advertising firms in Orlando/Tampa right after the holidays. Hopefully, I will be able to find a job and be in Central Fla. by March. So, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it will be March 2008 for the hopeful move date, or possibly Jan./Feb. for interviews! I'm definitely going to go through WDW "withdrawal;" however, the payoff is worth it!

I love the Sabres... though I have yet to be able to watch a game on TV. Last year my boyfriend got season tickets (club seats, YAY!). I do not understand much that is going on, but I love going there and being around all the energy.

And the drive from WNY is crappy... I'll agree... if we ever take it again it will be when I get my Ram and it won't be a straight drive, but I do not think we will drive to WDW, unfortunately.

Wonderful thread idea!!

:smickey:

How Long would it takes you to go to WDW CAR--6.5 hours or AIRPLANE--2 hours
