Well there have been many times that CMs have made a big difference in our trips to WDW and we keep on debating how best to say thank you. Well in some cases tips are appropriate but in others tips and gifts can not be accepted but after talking with a CM I know I think I have found a great way to say thank you and add some happiness to many peoples lives.
As we know the hurricanes did quite a bit of damage to many of the homes of those who work at WDW. There were also quite a few of them that stayed at work to help make visitors as comfortable as possible even while their home was being damaged. We have all heard the stories here of how some of the CMs went above and beyond their duty. Well now we can give back.
Maybe this was already posted somewhere and if so I am sorry for duplicating the post but I asked a CM I know if their was a relief fund for the workers of WDW who have had damage to deal with after the storms and this is the information I was given.
For hurricane relief donations, they can be sent to:
Vista Federal Credit Union, Hurricane Relief Fund,
P.O. Box 10,000, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830.
The checks can be made out to Vista FCU Hurricane Relief. They are very thankful for all the donations they are getting, as the money is greatly needed. It's been a real help to so many cast members. There is no deadline at this time to receive donations.
Another good idea is to give blood. They came by my work asking for blood for the victims last week and we all gave.
Just some ideas on what would really help those who have helped us.
