We are thinking of staying here in December. I was wondering what others had to say about this resort. Thanks Ron.. :)

We were upgraded from akl to ssr. It was a two bedroom villa with kitchen, washer and dryer. We absolutely loved it. We had no complaints. It's beautiful. The only complaint that I can think of is that it took a verrrry long time to get to and from downtown disney using the bus. Lots quicker with the ferry:goodvibes

We stayed recently and had a lovely tiem. The resort is so new, nice pools, well laud out, good food and helpful staff. We will def go back!

You want to hear the good & the bad????

Well, for us (spent 8 nights there in May) there was "no bad"....only good!

We loved it!!

Why would anyone take the bus from SSR to DTD? It's a 5 minute walk from the Congress Park area to the Marketplace bus stops and no more than a 15 minute walk from anywhere at SSR to Congress Park.

I've only stayed there once, and I can't think of anything bad to say. I thought it was a beautiful resort. I was in Congress Park with a terrific view of Downtown Disney. The bus service was great, and I found the staff to be friendly. I'll gladly stay there again some day. :)

We stayed there last summer and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. (possibly next month I'm hoping ;) )Very relaxing resort IMHO. Great amenities and friendly CMs as well. We stayed in CP which was a quick walk to DTD-yes don't know why anyone would take the bus either, would definitely take the boat if you didn't want to walk. CP also has very thick windows which keeps all the noise out...;)

You can check for more info on this resort on the DVC Planning board, great info there, we got lots from that board prior to our trip.
