Speaking of events . . .
The VMK staff are working on a special event. It's far too early for hints, but we're pretty excited about it.


This "news" item was so completely useless I literally Laughed Out Loud at it.
How about a LITTLE bit of a hint?

So let's try to guess what the event imagineers at VMK have in store for us:

*VMK FIRST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: I believe the official, non-beta launch of VMK was in late May or early June? (Time flies and memory fades). To celebrate, VMK will be doing a mongo event combining all of the best events of the past. Decorate your room to look like a giant maze and then put 156 people in the queue in front of you. The person who can get through the queue and spend the most hours in one entire weekend sitting in their own room doing absolutely nothing will win a pin!

Deciding the next event they probably will have no problem with. It is coming up with new ways to torture us that takes the time. I am thinking for next event the DC should be set at 10 minutes and maximum room occupancy should be 5. All Fires will need to be relit after each disconect, All tables will be resized this time and chairs can only face one way. Stacking level will also be lowered and maximum furniture placement will be set to 200, If you are over these limits all furniture will be returned to your inventory. The prize will not be announce in advance but will be a very nice malificients evil fortress room, the hotel pin from the staff games and all participants will receive the coveted ned pin, rarely seen.

Just to add I think VMK will even simplify it further. Rather than tell us what the event is or when the event will take place, we will all need to guess.

Therefore create a ride, decorate a room, wander mazes, and spend each weekend varying what you do on an hourly basis in hopes that just maybe you picked the correct time and place and win!

Your prize you may ask....there is no immediate prize. The Top Ten randomly selected winners will receive an entry into a host game where if they correctly spin the right combination of 6 number generators, you will win a whopping 100 credits!

Oh I can't wait!

No, the 100 credits to to the player who wins the chair race, while the
"losers" of the round get a Zebra pin. (Yes, this actually happened to me
as a "winner" of a staff game. LOLOL)
