Let's get this PAR-TAY started!!!

Amber - this is gonna be GREAT!! I can't wait to hear all about your trip. The dining alone is getting me all excited...

I honestly dont remember. We priced with several companies. AAA ddiscount. It ended up being less expensive, even parking it at port for the 3 day cruise.

So I can't do a one-way? I've never rented a car except once when DH's car got smashed up (it wasn't his fault).

Anyways, I can't rent it at WDW and return it at port? Or could I return it at MCO after our cruise?

Thanks for all the info! :flower3:

LOL! :rotfl2: Thanks!

I have to remember to take pics of all our food this time! Especially the cake I'm about to order for our Garden View Lounge tea time! It will be special for our anniversary.

You better take pictures... God knows I never remember. Actually I think DH would shoot me if I took pics of his food. He'd surely think I've gone off the deep end :rotfl2:

I priced 2 one ways and roundtrip.. we ended up keeping it for 8 days and it was cheaper than 2 one ways.. I didnt mean to stress you,, wanted to give you some options.

Land and see sounds like a pretty good balance of frantic park touring and indulgent relaxation. :thumbsup2

We keep looking at the cruise option, see the price tag and cringe. The five person family plays into it. We either end up having to get a fairly expensive cabin that will fit 5 (with a single bathroom :crowded: ) or opt for two less expensive ones, split up me and DW and pay full adult rate for two of the kids. Neither options jumps out at us, so we just go back to how long can we stay at WDW. But, we don't stop going back to look and price out periodically.

It looks like you are hitting a good number of TS venues. It looks like a good set. We just made our ADRs today for our July trip, so we'll have to put up pre-trip of our own.

In any case, I'm subbing and following along! popcorn::

Trust me, I know! I'm a cake junkie!!! Or anything with frosting...

I got an 8" vanilla cake, vanilla buttercream frosting, raspberry mousse filling, and Cinderella and Prince Charming decorations with pink flowers if they can fit them in. I also told them it was our 10th anniversary. It is gonna cost me $55, I think without the 18% service charge! But it is worth it to surprise DH.

I'll take a picture of it and post it in my trip report when we get back. :goodvibes

You're not stressing me at all. I'm just wondering what I should do.

I really do appreciate the info!

Thanks! :flower3:

Yeah, I can imagine the cruise would be hard with 3 kids. What about one of the family suites? Don't they sleep 5?

Actually... :rotfl2: ... after you mention the problem with the cruise, I started rethinking my decision to have 3 kids! LOL! DH only wants 2. Maybe he's right! :lmao:

I love TS! It gives us a chance to sit down, relax, and talk about what we want to do with the rest of our time. We are super-planners when it comes to which park and what TS on which days, but the only "day plans" we have are, "Hit the rollercoasters and thrill rides first!" :woohoo:

Can't wait to read the reports of your July trip! Thanks for reading along! :thumbsup2

For those of you sweet junkies like me... here is an awesome link.

If you want to get an idea of the cake I ordered for our anniversary, check out pg 1, post #7. It's gonna be similar to the birthday cake for Celia. :cake:

Yum! Save me a slice, LOL! Can't wait to see your Prince Charming, etc in the pics.

Congratulations on your anniversary! We celebrate our 10th as well in February!

BTW, consider youself pinched! Hard to believe it is real, isn't it?

Yummy! Looks good. I order one for DH too- but mine is vanilla cake w/ choc frosting & choc ganache. Hopefully he likes his B-day cake.

In one week we'll be there!!!!!!

It's funny how about 3 weeks before we leave I start having nightmares that I forgot something, or I'm late to an ADR, or some other silly thing. However, the nightmares have stopped now. It's weird, but good. LOL! I don't have to wake up with my heart thumping and having to remind myself it wan't real.

Yummy, that sounds good too!

See ya real soon! :mickeyjum

I saw your message on Kanga's trip report - looks like we'll be at CBR for a few days together. :) Have you requested a particular building yet? We haven't & I'm still trying to decide what to request when we check in.

Sounds like you have a great trip planned out - a lot of our favorite restaurants & a lot of fun celebrations. :thumbsup2 We really enjoyed our 5th anniversary at WDW. Have a magical trip!! :goodvibes

Since we are paying extra for the king bed, I requested Trinidad North.

Thanks! We are SO excited to be leaving on Friday!

Have a fun and safe trip yourself!!!

Hi Amber,

Just finished reading your pre-TR and it's great, that cake looks lovely it will feed you for a week. :rotfl: It was my 10th wedding anniversary in 2005 and we always said we would return to the Maldives where we honeymooned. But 2 kids later it just had to be WDW and this time it's me that is far more excited! :cool1:

Have a great trip, can't wait to hear about the cruise, it's something I've always wanted to do but the cost of a WDW holiday from the UK is tons already. Maybe if I send DH to work more.

Have fun.

I'm sure coming to WDW from the UK must cost a "pretty penny". I can't imagine how expensive just the airfare is! :sad2:

DH and I actually don't have any kids yet, but I told him that he had to take me to Disney atleast once before I got pregnant. This is now our 3rd trip. :goodvibes Next one will be with a child, I'm sure, but it's been nice being just the 2 of us for a long while! LOL :rotfl:
