Let's Get Really Serious....How often do you change....

This is basically the same answer as the bathroom cleaning thread - I'm a single guy who lives alone, and it ain't often!

Actually, with the bedding I do change it out some mostly due to cat hair. If it wasn't for the cat though....

Once a week. I always said, if I win the lottery I'll have a housekeeper that changes them every day for me, I love crawling into nice fresh sheets! (yes, I know I could change them every day myself, but that's not going to happen lol)

About once a week, but it may vary.

I do it myself, rather than have the cleaning service do it.

Faithfully once a week - and boy do I look forward going to bed that night they get changed!!

I live alone and sometimes have a hectic schedule so it isn't every week -probably more like every 2-weeks. But I've started to re-think this and I believe it's justified. By the time I get home and sit down, I'll watch a show or two and inevitably I'll wake up around 1/2AM in my living room and go to bed for a few more hours sleep. So I get not one, but actually two sleeps in one night! Since I spend roughly half the time in bed, I think it may be fair to only change them every other week anyway.... 🤷‍♂️

I aim for every other week, but have definitely gone quite a bit longer. I wear pajamas to bed (in winter it can be multiple layers), so the sheets don't get direct body contact.

I hear you! I've started having the night sweats sometimes (which is a whole different discussion LOL)...and those days the sheets go right in the wash.

Same. Although my pajamas and pillowcase just end up soaked. I have several extra pillowcases for this reason. My husband sleeps commando style. Nothing but the sheets to soak up the sweat on his side. 🤣

Of course, we never sweat on the same nights... I have changed the sheets 5 times in one week. That is my personal record.

Every two weeks. Seems like most people do it more often than this. That's a lot of laundry.

Every other week . Wash every Saturday.

I don’t even make the guest beds or should I say the kids beds until I know they are coming. They do have comforters or duvet so it looks neat in that room. If it’s been awhile will wash before they come and wash after and put away.

I have a friend who puts on multiple sheets. Pulls one off every couple of days.

We own a lot of sheets--often make blankets out of the top sheets, so we have an abundance of fitted sheets. I have a terrible habit of letting those pile up.

Every Sunday the sheets get changed. DH (who never changed a sheet in his life!) actually complains if the sheets aren’t his favorite. Of course he’s free to change them…:rotfl2:
