I can only help with one -- Yak & Yeti (we've not been to Prime Time in over 10 years, didn't care for Pecos Bills and haven't done any of your others). Here's my review of Yak & Yeti from our 25th wedding anniversary trip:

Review #2 -- Yak & Yeti Dinner on Wednesday, September 3 --

I was a little leary of this place as I had read mixed reviews, but DH really likes this type of food so I reserved it for him. If it had not been for LeCellier, it could have taken first place--the food was that good. DH had a Safari Amber Ale Beer and it was quite tasty (I took a few sips and am not a big beer drinker, but I liked it). Shelley and Tom had the Shaoling Steak & Shrimp with stir fried vegetables to which they gave two thumbs up (I tried the steak and it was outstanding).

DH had the Duck with Anadapur Glaze with jasmine rice and stir fried vegetables and cleaned his plate.

IMG_1632.jpg

I had the Sweet/Sour Pork with white rice and stir fried vegetables (I ate it all and wished there had been more of the pork as I did not eat the vegetables--not a big vegetable eater and definitely not stir fried vegetables).

IMG_1633.jpg

We ordered two Mango Pies and two Chocolate Brownie Sundaes--we had three of them boxed up as we were all full because of the huge portions.

Everyone really enjoyed their meals and thought they were very tasty. The service was out of this world. I made a comment that I wanted a Mickey plate like the little girls at the table next to us had and they brought me one because they thought it would make my day more magical. :goodvibes

I LOVE Pecos Bills, the burgers are good especially adding things from the toppings bar grilled onions, mushrooms, tomatos, lettuce, BBQ sauce and getting some cheese sauce for the fries.. The chicken wrap is excellent here as well and Im wanting to try the BBQ sandwhich but dont want to give up the burger..LOL Portions are big too!

Nine Dragons-Big Suprise last yr, I went kicking and screaming, felt like we have plenty of chinese food here at home but was impressed BEST Genral Tso Ive ever had!

Kona Cafe- this place gets RAVE reviews, I thought it was ok but I am going back since Im staying at the Poly, desserts are great hoping to find the "it" entree this time around had tuna oscar last yr found it pretty bland..

50's PT-fun place great pot roast.. Our server didnt play with us except to ask us to set the table.. Would go back..

Narcosse-this will be a new one for us, going on our anniversary JUST for the lobster, I love lobster and crab..

Jiko-I really really want to go here! Maybe next trip.. I just love AKL!!

Have fun cant wait to see your pics and review when y0u return!

I can help with Jiko! Fabulous choice. Try the Taste of Africa. Each dip is great on it's own, but try a little of each together. It is mouthwatering! As far as an entrée goes, I had the Maize crusted halibut. Again, simply amazing. The sauce was incredible. I went by myself when I arrived before the Princess weekend. The service was phenomenal.

KatMark - thanks for the wonderful pictures and review!:thumbsup2

I'm now very excited to go there. The steak and shrimp looks fantastic and I think I might have to try that.

Tasha - thanks for your thoughts! We are looking forward to trying Pecos Bills - we love CHH but have decided that we need to branch out a little with our MK counter service meals!

Nine Dragons was a late addition - we just really wanted to have a TS meal in the World Showcase - and we like chinese food so we thought we'd give it a go.

I am so looking forward to Kona Cafe - it will be great to have a break from the MK on our first full day. I was hoping to try the tuna oscar as it looks great - but I've read mixed reviews.

Can't wait to have fun at 50's PT - Simon is going to get into so much trouble for not eating his veggies!

We nearly went to Narcoossees in 2008 but chickened out. Simon wants to try the surf and turf and I'm thinking about the crab crusted halibut.

We are very excited about Jiko - we do love the AKL too - we ate at Boma last time and enjoyed it - but Jiko looks even better.

Thanks Aimee! Looking at the Jiko menu I must admit I am spoilt for choice! I'll just have to see how I feel when I get there!:yay:

Woo-hoo!:cheer2:

Today we are doing the single digit dance!

Only 9 days till we leave!

Our Disney documents arrived yesterday so cue excitement all around. We're thinking about getting the cases down to start packing seriously (we've been putting bits and bobs in there for months!)

Simon has been mocking me - he has a fancy ipod touch that he's got all his Disney stuff on - including a dining schedule with all the menus etc.

Well, I'm more of an old fashioned girl. I have been printing out menus and sticking them in a little notebook - then highlighting things I like the look of. It's far more satisfying! But Simon chuckles everytime I get it out! At least my notebook can't run out of battery!

Here are some random dessert shots for your delectation and delight:
