Let's Eat Around the World

Okay, DH and I have gone to Disney many times and only recently started to make this a must do on our trip to Epcot.

Hit each country and try something native from their vendors/restaurant.

So I ask you out there have others done this and what do you get?

Ex. Mexico-nachos, Germany-Bratts, France-double chocolate cake, UK-fish and chips

When we go in 2010 we're determined to skip breakfast and eat something at every country.

ya know, I always say the same thing...
my problem is I get to China or Morroco and there's nothing light that sounds good.
To picky of an eater I guess.
Dessert at Norway is always good.
Germany hot Pretzel.
and any pastry from France.

For Morrocco, how about a baklava

I'd love to do this too. I've only tried a few things so far though, but I would have them again.
I loved the California roll at the CS in Japan.
Norway had a great desserts, but next time I'm getting dessert in France.
Fish and chips will be a must to share with DD next time.

For Morrocco, how about a baklava

Or if you don't want such a sweet, how about a vegetarian entree to split? That's a real good entree. Although myself, with my sweet tooth, I'd go for the baklava!

Mexico - Chicken Tacos (the nachos are HORRIBLE and there are a few threads that support that I am not alone in this)
Germany - Apple Strudel or Brat and Kraut
Morocco - Chicken and Lamb platter
United States - Funnel cake
France - Pastry

We have done it at the F&W and on the normal menus.

It can be done by sharing between the group or taking 2 full days.Appetizers work well for this and we do it on other vacations as well as a progressive party around town.It is a great way to learn each others food favorites.
