Hi All! It's Niki going to Disney to eat and drink herself silly once again. Since the Live Dining Thread is closing, I am going to do a stab at my own trip report again. I promise I will finish this one. Since the "contest" with the Live Thread, DH has allowed me to photograph my food. He can be a competitive sort. So I hope to have lots and lots of food porn pics for your enjoyment.

We will be staying at Saratoga Springs January 4 through January 11. We have a 1 BR for the two of us, so lots of room for leftovers (if there are any LOL) We are going alone this time, so we will be eating at places we like to go to without concern about the tastes and/or budget of our fellow travelers. So here is the line-up:

TS
La Hacienda
Il Mulino
Boma
Garden View Tea Room
Bluezoo
Jiko
Shutters at Old Port Royale
Chefs de France
Olivia's
Yak n Yeti
Cabana Bar & Grill (maybe)

CS
Wolfgang Puck Express
Tangerine Cafe
Columbia Harbor House
Sunshine Seasons
Artist's Pallette
Earl of Sandwich

Less than a month to go. Can't wait to eat all this awesome food, and share the pics with y'all.

Niki

In anticipation of my trip report, I will post a few photos from my October trip that I never incorporated into a trip report.

This is me with chef Todd English at the Swan & Dolphin Food and Wine Classic.

That was a great event. I wish there was an event like that in January. Here is a photo of my favorite dishes of the evening,

Yellowfin Tuna Tartare - Miso caviar, cucumber, scallion cream, nitro siracha aioli Lucky for me, this is on the menu at Bluezoo where I will be eating for the first time this trip. I can't wait.

I bet that Yellowfin Tuna Tartare was amazing!!! I hope that it's still on the menu for my trip to Bluezoo. Todd English is great too, lol!!!

Another one of our favorites is Olivia's. I love Shrimp Grits, and was able to get a decent dish there.

DH thinks Olivia's has a great steak at a great price. The au gratin potatoes were awesome.

Just want to whet your appetite. I am certainly drooling right now.
