Lets call this a sorta TR

I must admit this trip went by so fast I have a hard time remembering what the heck happened, and I don't even drink!
We left on Tuesday the 20th, what a beautiful day, stopped in Dothan, Al for the night. Got up and had another beautiful day to drive so we got to the fort a day early and luckily got a site (831) and checked in around 6pm.
On thursday DW Kathy and DGD Miss Bailey went to AK for the day while I moved the TT to site 602, went and picked up the GC and set things up (they still found me anyway). On Thursday night we went looping and found Fishin Frank and Denise and RVJohn and BSed a while. Let me insert here that they are some of the nicest people I've met while camping, but I will deny saying it if cornered. While BSing we decided to have a get together at my site on Saturday night.
Friday we went to MK and had a good day, hot but any day at MK is good for me.
So moving on, Saturday the DW and DGD went swimming while I went to Wallyworld for supplies and Camping World to see what was new. Saturday night we had about 20 people show up for the get together and we had a good time, the kids all hit it off and played down by the lake and in our camper. I am not gonna try to name all that were there because I will feel horrible if I forget someone. We had a B'day cake for Miss Bailey and Sheryl (sp) even though Baileys B'day isn't til Nov 8th this trip was for her B'day (so she thought) so we had a cake (she loves a party).
The kids found a snake down at the lake and of course we needed to go down and see it, Roger was gonna pick it up until Frank said he thought it was poisonous, that ended the snake rangling right then and there. I believe all had a good time but you will need ask them that, I know I enjoyed meeting everyone.
Sunday was a hot day and believing the parks would be busy we hung out at the Fort and visited our new friends and met a few more, Kathys cousin Rachel came over and visited, after eating at TE we went down to the beach and watched the Fireworks and water parade.
Monday we went to Epcot and roasted but enjoyed the day, came back, looped a little BSed some more and met some more Dis'ers. The decorations were going up fast, there was a great set up at the entrance of the 800 loop with flying ghosts and plenty of spooky stuff.
Tuesday We went to DHS and had a good time, still a little hot for October. Miss Bailey was starting to miss her momma by this time and cried a few times for her. I had asked her if she was gonna miss her mother before we left and she was sure she wouldn't, oh well shes just short of her 5th b'day and its good she loves her mother.
Wednesday we went back to MK to finish up on some rides we missed on Friday, most rides were walk on so we got on everything without a wait and Miss Bailey got to ride Dumbo twice and the Carousel twice then I finally got her into the Haunted Mansion, she was holding on to my leg pretty tight until the ghost sat in her lap and then it's "I want to go again" so we went again! We left MK and the girls went to DTD to make me broke and I went back to the camper to get things started to leave the next morning and watch the ballgame (go Phillies!) A few Dis'ers stopped by to do what we do best (BS), I met Debbie the otter spotter at the last min before going in for the night, shes a hugger , I like huggers. Thursday I got up with a slight tooth ache and took the GC back and the TT ready and left around 10:30. We stopped at a nice campground just south of Montgomery just as the ballgame was starting (GO phillies). With the tooth hurting more as the day went on I went to bed only to wake up with it hurting more but Tylenol took care of it enough to let me sleep. In the morning we got up to a windy cloudy day and headed for home, lucky the wind was at our back because my TT doesn't tow well with a side wind. All the way home the tooth was getting worse and all I could think of was that it was Friday and dentists don't work on Saturdays. Luckily we called a denist who said if we got there by 3:00 they would see me, well we got there at 3:20 and got in for them to tell me my tooth was broken and gave me some lortabs til Tuesday, I have 2 in me and it still hurts, oh well. Anyway to sum it up, we had a great time, got home ok and met some great people.
Sorry I'm not a good writer, kinda "just the facts ma'am" kinda report. I posted some pictures the other day and I have to DL some more for future viewing, I hope Frank will be posting some from the get together when he gets home safely.

Even though you didn't pick up Dave and me, I forgive you and I'm glad you had a good time. Enjoyed your TR...no need to apologize for a "just the facts ma'am" kind of report. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like a great trip Bob. Like Liv, I won't stay mad at you for ditching us. Hope they get that tooth situation fixed up on Tuesday.

Sorry we didn't get a chance to stop by Sat. night. I was starting to come down with a bad head cold and wanted to be rested for the drive home Sun. Hope you all had a great time.

Man....sorry about the tooth. I hope I didn't crack it when I hugged you! Sorry we didn't get more time together - too bad work interferes with the things we'd rather be doing!! Oh well...here's to a 2010 GG!! We have to start planning now so we can get everyone here at the same time.

BTW - I'm on the porch aat Meadow, and there is another Class A MH in your site. The nerve of some people!!

Great to meet you guys. Loved the TR. Sorry about the toothache.Too much Russell Stover candy? Glad you didn't mention the ketchup thief in your TR. The day we were leaving I was getting the frig ready to ride and noticed I had 2 of the exact bottles of Heinz. I owe you guys a bottle. Say hi to DW and DGD from us.

Now I know! The Russell Stover! Funny you should mention the ketshup, we stopped for the night and Sissy was looking for it in the fridge for her hot dog. When she couldn't find it she exclamed "somebody stole our ketshup!" now why would someone steal out ketshup? She was alright when we explained that y'all took it by mistake. She really loved Frank, she was calling him the Candy Man and was upset that we didn't get a chance to say good -by. We came by a few times and y'all were out and then the lights were out. I'm glad y'all got home ok, I was watching the rain and hoping you got thru it ok. We got home with the detour for the denist just as it was starting to rain and we got 2 inches from then until Saturday morning.
