let's all get texting in North America!

So, my gf is on her way to Disney (driving) and we've been texting all the way. (I'm at home sending texts from my computer - you can do that through Bell and Rogers) Most co's let you receive texts for free.

Here's the deal - Bell will give you 2500 texts per month for $10.00 anywhere in North America. AND YOU CAN NOW TEXT A LAND LINE (when you send a text to a home phone number, it will translate it to a voice message)

So you can text home, you can text dw, dh while in the parks etc. all for $10.00 (as long as you don't go over 2500 texts).

So why am I complaining - ROGERS text packages are still only within Canada. Why does Bell have it and not Rogers - Don't ask me.

So I think we should all email/call Rogers customer support and demand equal text coverage with Bell. Help me out Dis'rs, I really want this service. I'm stuck with rogers for another year.

We hate texting even with our new phone with full keyboard it just seems to be a waste of time LOL. Funny thing is we have full unlimited texting included in our package LOL.
