Hi Everyone!
It's been awhile since I've been on this board. It is always my go to when I start planning. Our family is in need of some long overdue pixie dust. DH wants to go DCL. I want both. DS hasn't done a cruise yet.

THE PLAN: 3 days land 4 sea

Now, back in the day (2004 back in the day) there was a land/sea package. From what I can tell, they no longer do this So, we are looking for the best of both worlds which comes with a bigger price tag (in all fairness in 2004 we paid for 2 of us. In 2016, we are adding one to the mix)

How do you;
Get the most out of the magic?
What are your typical touring plans?
I know there is a budget board, and I have started pouring over those as well, but do you have any tricks to cut costs?

Hoping to create a magical experience for my boys!

Check out the Disney gift cards thread on the budget board to learn how to buy discounted gift cards. You'll need to have time on your side because the cards come and go. This year I'm saving 9%. Last year I was saving about 11-12%.

If you have 120 days before your PIF date open a Disney vacation account. For every $1000 spent after 120 days you get a $20 Disney gift card.

If you think you'll cruise again in the next 24 months book a placeholder for the discount and on board credit for the future cruise.

Looks like you've been WDW recently so you probably know to book fastpasses.
