Let the 2008 countdown begin!

Just had to post. Just made our rezzies for 2008. April 25th through May 2nd, POP Century, standard dinging plan for myself, wife and daughter! Been planning on doing this since we came back in September, but now it feels "official".

We have never stayed at POP before, but last year we did All Star Movies in May, and CBR in the fall. Loved movies, and figured with all the good things we read on these boards about POP, we would give it a shot!

Now, to start on the dining rezzies and make it really feel real!

Stayed at Pop this April! LOVED it the pools were great, food court awesome and the staff were wonderful. Am going back in Feb as a SOLO!!

LOL, on the ticker. Have one on the comp at home, Mac Dashboard, and I'm at something like 170 days. I CAN'T WAIT. My daughter is already checking the countdown every morning, and loves it as the widget is shaped like a Mickey Head.

I'm REALLY hoping to pay this off by Christmas. I told my wife not to get me anything, and consider this trip my "big gift". It will feel a lot better when I know I don't owe them anything anymore! (Well, except the few hundred we'll probably spend on souvenirs)!

Oh, almost forgot. My wife also booked all of our ADR's yesterday! Now it DOES feel even more real. We were able to get everything we wanted, including times. I'm most excited, as is our 5 year old daughter, about doing Park Fare again, along with Akershush for Breakfast. Two princess dinners on one trip, along with Whispering Canyon, Liberty Tree Tavern, Boma, Chef Mickey's and Hollywood and Vine at MGM. We were also able to get the vouchers for Fantasmic, which we have never seen, due to the Hollywood and Vine dinner rez. I'm really exicted about that one, and never even realized we could get priority seating for the show by eating there.

We are going in September and it seems like forever away! I will be glad when we hit the "180 mark" so I can make ADR's and it will seem a little more real! WDW only has the EMH/EEH posted through April as of now. I will be glad when they add the remainder of 2008 (as I want to do the opposite of what I did last year)! Last year I made our park schedule based on EMH/EEH... we figured the more time, the better! This year we will schedule based on what parks do NOT have the EMH/EEH (hopefully less people per park)! I do have our list made of where we want our TS to be used at... I cannot wait to make the ADR's! Everyone have a wonderful, magical, and safe trip!

LOL! I know what you mean! We are paying "little by little"... it is where the money from my part-time job goes (I am a full-time college student, and a homeschooling Mom, so part-time is all I have to offer)! We'll get there soon enough! Enjoy!
