We'll be Disneying from June 1st - 6th. The first day, well, man, we'll have to leave home around 2 am our time to get to the airport on time. So, even though we get there by about 10 am, we will skip Disney, opting instead to spend the day at the beach. I'm still trying to decide whether to book a meal at DTD that night. We might just decide that sleep looks more inviting than a hot meal!

That leaves me the 2nd-5th to play with. I see that the GH performances are now closed two days a week...I think Monday and Tuesday? Then again, I read that Tuesday - Thursday are much less crowded than the rest of the week.

On the other hand, I can't find much info about what the parades and shows will look like come June. Do you think Fantasmic will be running every night by then? If not, maybe I should plan on doing Disney on Friday even if it is more crowded, just to make sure we get to see Fantasmic.

We want to do the Graylines trip to Sea World. What day would you do it if you were me? I'm leaning towards Friday. That would give us three full days in the park...plus a half day Saturday that is open right now. I figure I'll play it by ear. If the parks get crazy crowded like they did on our last trip we'll leave mid-day and do DTD. (Gotta get Legos!) If not, we'll hold off shopping until Saturday. Either way, I figured we'll do breakfast at Goofy's Saturday morning.

I'd love input from those of you who are "regulars". Does my plan sound reasonable? Would you choose another day for the Sea World trip?

TIA!

Beth

I'll leave some of your questions for regular DLR visitors who travel to get there (I have an AP) But here's a few I can help you with.

Once summer season starts Fantasmic will show at least once a night. Sometimes twice. You're going the first week of June so....I don't know when summer officially starts but I think it's later. Usually Fantasmic runs on any day that DL is open until at least 10 p.m. (right now they are running it at 7:30 even on the days the park closes at 8, since there isn't a parade) Fantasmic should run on Fri., Sat. and Sun but you'll have to check the calendar once it's posted to make sure.

Sea World is definitely busier on weekend so a weekday would be best. But then again if it isn't officially summer yet then SW will close earlier on weekdays. The calendar for SW is up for the year. While you are there the park is open 10-6 M-Th and 10-7:30 on Friday. Based on that I would think anyday would be good. Quick question-how much does it cost to use Grayline v.s. renting a car for a day?

Regarding the beach in early June. Have a contingent plan as early June isn't always the best beach weather. June Gloom, you know.

Have a great trip!

SeaWorld is the only place that offers this deal! You pay regular admission price and the bus ride is free! Basically, you give up whatever deals they may be offering in return for a free ride!

I'm going to rent a car for our first day because there isn't any easy way to get to the beach without one. However, I'd prefer to drive as little as possible, knowing what the roads there are like!

Thanks for the input! Every little bit helps me pull my trip together more!

That's a great deal! I didn't know about that. :goodvibes

Thank you for last year's schedule! It looks like I need to plan to be at Disney on Friday if we want to see Fantasmic!

I booked early in the month to get the Entertainment deal at HoJo's...and avoided the weekends because we did that last time and it was, well, painful!

If push comes to shove and we don't see Fantasmic we won't be heartbroken...we got to see it last year at the Studios. Still, we'll give it a shot!

Thanks for the info!
