APs are going to be in full force for the Nemo opening the week of June 11th....so will most of the crowds be going to the Nemo ride and therefore leaving the rest of the park a little less crowded or will there be full force crowds everywhere?

My main concern here is Fantasyland, HM, and POTC. We are definately planning to do Fantasyland 1st thing and I'm hoping everyone is lined up at Nemo leaving Fantastyland at least manageable...?!

Uh I am an AP but I will wait, I am a stay at home mom so I will try to go on a Tuesday a couple weeks after the opening! But I can't wait for that ride to open! My daughter Loves Nemo!

As an AP holder I can tell you that I will be staying far far away from Nemo when it opens. Since we are lucky enough to go when we want I will wait until the fall to go. ;)

That's our plan too! Perhaps we'll ride the monorail and take a peek from above.:3dglasses

I doubt the rest of the parks will be less crowded. It is true that many AP holders will be focused on Nemo, but they will also spill into other parts of the park.

My guess (and it is only a guess) is that Nemo will suck people into its line in the early morning - AP holders and non-APs as well, and will leave FantasyLand maybe less crowded than is typical in June. This may even be true of Adventureland, Frontierland and NOS because they are on the opposite side of the park. But once it gets later in the morning I think it will be as busy as usual if not more so everywhere in DL. I doubt DCA will be affected very much.

If you can avoid the days when SoCal AP holders have access to DL you will be better off.

Thanks, HydroGuy! That's the ray of hope I was looking for! We plan to attack Fantastyland first thing, then NOS, and then leave DL for awhile when the heat and crowds peak and come back in time for the parade at 3pm and then use our fastpasses collected earlier. That's the "plan" I hope it works!
