I agree, I've got daffodills out (way too early) and there are new born lambs in my field.
also my mum has been calling me at work (in Tavistock) all day from Launceston to find out if she can make it across dartmoor to meet me for dinner tonight! (I've no idea why she would think I'd still be at work if it was snowing on dartmoor, she should know I'd leg it home as soon as possible )

My cousin who happens to be called Paul, recently moved to Australia and he's in construction. They start at 9 have 30 mins tea/chat/smoke. Start work have a tea break mid morning then an hour for lunch. Later a mid afternoon break then they start packing up at 3.00pm so the site is locked up for 3.20pm! What a life. It's so hot now they can't work so have to stay at home on full pay. What a life!
