Lesson Learned

So we were at DL from Friday to Monday. We had concentrated on rides for the first three days and planned to devote Monday to pics....we did get some pics the other days but not many. Anyway Monday it rained and of course most of the characters were not out and the ones that were had a handler w no camera. So now I know to start w the characters and worry about rides later.

But if you do that what if you get to see characters but miss Space Mountain or Soarin? It's a catch 22.

I agree, but it all depends on priorities. For my family it's the attractions, so we get to those and to make sure we do not miss the characters we love the most we arrange a character meal. Kinda of like the best of both worlds.

What we like to do is make a list, everyone picks 2 or 3 things that we absolutely 100% have to do, then the first day we make sure we get as much as that list done. If we can get it all done then great, if not we keep doing that list as our first priority daily until all of that is done and then we just do whatever we want to do for the rest of the trip. That's what works best for us. Sorry you missed out on some of the characters this time around.
