Thank you for starting this thread, I needed a reminder of the best parts of WDW amidst all the MB, FP+, and MDE talk.

There are rocking chairs on the porch in Frontierland that we like to enjoy a snack with.

Once my DD and I were waiting for everyone to exit Space Mountain and were in the little dead end between the gift shop and the speedway. Sounds silly and maybe we liked it because she was 2 at the time, but we so liked waving to all the drivers as they "sped" by.

Also, we watch the Electrical Parade from Frontierland. It's a little more intimate and for sure less crowded.

Another vote for Animation Academy in DHS. You can "sneak" in through the gift shop if you don't want to see the show.

The Candy Lady in Japan- Miyuki!!!

Is the candy lady still there? I just heard on another thread that she left. It has been 8 years since I have been there and I really wanted my DS6 to see her.

We love spending time on Tom Sawyer's island.

[in addition to the Bone Yard in AK there is the Honey I Shrunk the Kids at DHS and the area under the train platform near Splash Mountain in MK - haven't found one in EP, but the Innoventions pavilions combined with the interactive games inside Space Ship Earth do the trick for us]

OP, your kids are a bit young, but the playgrounds above and Tom Sawyers Island are great for running around and burning off energy. Oddly enough, epcot is huge, but is the only park without an open playground. (A few do pop up around special occasions and celebrations, but are not permanent).

Oh and vote #50 for the people mover. We ride it 100 times each trip.

I think the people mover is about as well known as a lesser known ride could be, so I'll put in another vote for Animation Academy and Flights of Wonder.

AA is just really cool and relaxing and hopefully you leave with an awesome souvenir.

We saw Flights of Wonder by accident on out honeymoon and have been back just about every year since.

Animation Academy at DHS. I'm looking forward to trying on my trip next month!

Flights of Wonder. Watching veterinary procedures and the small "animal encounter" shows at Rafiki's Planet Watch/Conservation Station.

And Miyuki the Candy Lady at Epcot!

Flights of Wonder we loved - even the crane clipping me in the head (lightly). It was a big hit with the kids.

My cousin also has a tough time getting his 3 year-old away from the Toy Train area in WS by Germany. He's absolutely fascinated by them and would stand there for hours if they let him.

Epcot: The Land Ride- so interesting & a nice break from the commotion around Soarin'. The Gran Fiesta boat ride in Mexico-we are Donald Fans & it's a fun silly ride!

MK: Mickey's Philarmagic- missed it in 2011, DH tried it in 2012 and couldn't wait for kids to see it last year... Great for all ages!

HS: Honey I Shrunk the Kids- same story as Philarmagic... We had a family movie night ahead of time so they would appreciate it & smiled the whole time!!

AK: Flights of Wonder is a great spot to relax & see an interesting show

Last trip we discovered the Sum of all thrills in one of the Innovations pavilions in EP. You design your own thrill ride which is then executed by a mechanical arm, kind of like one used in a factory. Kids and DH loved it and can't wait to do it again.
