And I don't even have time to be excited! :rotfl:

I was just asked to work on a show up until THE DAY BEFORE I FLY OUT!!! Naturally, being the crazy person that I am I took it!! (It means I get to graduate early, and who doesn't find that tempting, come on!!!)

But anyway, that doesn't change the fact that I still feel like I don't have everything together... hahahaha

So my expert DISers what is it that people do around this time in order to get extra prepared?? Is there anything to stop the excitement I'm feeling right now?? It's soooooo close I can taste it! :beach:

Hello!
I am also going the same time you are. Also staying at HOJO. I am also just dying of anticipation! 13 days to go!

So, I have printed my packing list, and have been piling everything up. Yesterday, I organized and stacked and then packed all of our stuff that we won't use in the next 13 days. So I have 3 suitcases packed already! I am thinking I will end up with carry on luggage after all, even with 4 checked bags. (family of 4, not all mine:)) I have our day pack packed, as we will be hitting the park as soon as we drop off our luggage.

I am checking the weather daily, seeing rain, glad I have rain gear, but still hoping that the forecast will change. Sort of, because rain does mean lighter crowds. Oh well, either way we will have a great time.

Working til the last moment should help time pass. I just had to schedule a meeting on the 12th and it about killed me.
I have created my own booklet with secrets, a must do list, a schedule, etc. Also created an Excel spreadsheet with all the rides/shows etc on it for both parks, with 3 columns. Have done, Must Do, and then a tally coloumn.

Hmm...I keep on reviewing my plans and making/changing PS plans. The CM's are so nice! I feel like I need more, but am not sure where to put them.

Next up: Gather cords and whatnot for cameras, phone, etc.

Holy WOW!!! Now I really don't feel that well prepared! HAHAHA

I have a list of things that I need to pack, I have to still pack my rain gear but that's at my house (I'm going to university so I'm not living at home right now) needless to say that's a last minute thing. I most definitely did not make a spreadsheet... HAHA oh well, I have the list in my head and I was going to sort everything out on the flight there! What building are you staying at? We're in Building two, I can't remember which floor...

That excel spreadsheet sounds like a really cool idea. I think that if I have time I should do the same! Thanks for that tip! I've come to the conclusion that although I try and organize everything, I just can't do it! LOL oh well we'll see what happens!

Um, I've done...nothing, lol. Wait, I booked the hotels and decided where we are eating our meals<: My MIL just passed away though so disney hasn't been on my brain much until today.

Wow, I am going at the same time and now I feel REALLY unprepared. I'm normally a big planner. I don't know what is happening to me this year, I'm really excited, but actually doing anything...meh.

Anyhow, the only thing I've done is try on my bathing suit and found it doesn't fit anymore. So I ordered a new one. That's the extent of it. I think I'll panic in about a week.

YAY~! more DISers!!!
I haven't even tried on a swimsuit yet... hahaha

Truth be told I think that I'm very prepared I've been planning this trip since the beginning of August. I just don't know what to expect. I mean it's my first trip that I've ever planned and I've never been to DL. I think I'm more worried about venturing into the unknown!

We are staying on the top floor of building one. Hoping for a nice view:) I am traveling with 2 other families and we will all be together up there.

I am ultraprepared this trip. Think I have driven my hubby to distraction.

Yes, a much appreciated escape<: Well, my sons swim trunks arrived today and my daughters Alice in wonderland dress is in the wash. Making slow progress<: I have to re-arrange my meal plans as my son says he doesn't want to meet the characters (he can be a bit shy at times) and I had planned on going to at least goofys and ariel's grotto. I'm more focused on him eating so I'll have to research a bit for some good places to eat. I already know blue bayou, the chili bread bowls at the refreshment corner and the clam chowder bread bowl place at New Orleans are good but I'm not sure of the others. I'm pregnant and dh and dd are foodys so a big part of our enjoyment is haveing a nice meal<:

The Carnation Cafe has very good food for lunch (I don't know if it's exactly foodie, but it's a lot more upscale than say the Hungry Bear). Also, outside of DLand proper, in DTD, there are lots of places that are a little more adventurous in terms of food.

You might want to keep one of your reservations and see if your son changes his mind? You only have to cancel 24 hours in advance, I think, and if he meets a character or two at the park, he might change his mind?
