Less than 2 weeks to go !!!!!

I can't believe it, a year in the planning is almost over.
We only have 13 days until we fly out to Orlando and I am starting to feel the magic brewing in my stomach !!

I really can't believe that we are nearly there, the time has flown by.

It is my 4th trip to Florida, but extra special as I will be returning from this one a married man !!!

Thanks to all the DIS'ers for keeping the momentum and excitement levels up throughout the year.

I just hope that it doesn't flash by too quick for us to take it all in and enjoy it all !!!

Are you panicking thinking about all the stuff you have to pack?

I know what you mean about it all going so quick and making sure you take time to enjoy it! I hope we can too!

congratulations on your forthcoming wedding.
I too come from England, and have been browsing these boards for a while now trying to pick up a few tips.
I have now been told by Disney that I can have the date I want, 28 Feb next year, but am exhausted with the so many questions I have in my head. I just dont know where to start first, or where to actually have the wedding, reception etc. There will only be 6 of us total.
I would like it to be special, but hope to keep the costs down as much as possible.
Could you pass on any tips etc, everbody's comments are lovely, but its extra specially nice to read comments from someone from your own country who has been through the same.

Congrats to both of you with wedding in the next few weeks. We will also be at wdw between the 14th and 21st of September. With our vow renewal plans just a year away I will be sure to think of both of you.

For those who will be "sharing" WDW with us in the next couple of weeks, I look forward to bumping into you, maybe !!

Hiwaygirl, yes, I am a little concerned on what we need to pack. The last couple of trips were easy as we went out light and brought plenty back. This time there are all the wedding gifts, wedding dress, suits etc etc etc to be considered.
It looks like you will be wed the day after us. I will think of you whilst splashing around with the Dolphins at Discovery Cove !

My wife-to-be is panicking about the dress being checked in and never seen again. I am not so worried as we are flying direct with Virgin and have not had a problem before. I think it is just one of those natural concerns. She will be fine when she is reunited with her dress in Orlando.

Janine, you are right, so much of our knowledge has been gained through this website. So many people have been through what we think are going to be stressful times. They also had the same questions when they took the stage and it is wonderful that they take the time and pass on their experiences. I have taken a lot of comfort from the things people here have said and combined with the support of Jennifer O'Leary at WDWFTW, I am completely at ease. I think it is worth the extra pennies to have it all organised for you.
Had we been married at home, I could easily add £5000 to the final budget and have a lot more stress !!!
