What is it about Disney that makes some of us so sentimental? I tried to explain it to my non-Disney loving mother and I couldn't get it out without crying.

We are officially 7 weeks 6 days, 17 hours and 6 minutes away from our take off to see The Mouse. This is a surprise trip, a year+ in the making, for my DD7 and DS5... their first time.

I get on here, nights mostly, and weep as I read about some of your trips with your kids.

I see the ads on TV, and I weep.

I am a mess. My favorite CD, Disney lullabyes, I play during dinner. When "A Whole New World" comes on, I weep. My kids ask me what's wrong with me!

What is it about Disney?

I hear you and I am with you on it all. It either could be that my DD is 6 (prime princessy age) or that could be simply an excuse! I love to stop by the Disney Store to see if they have anything new. :p I love buying her disney things. She is the only kid in her grade that wears Disney Store jeans.

I can just feel the pixie dust in the air. I love it all. I even have 'Disney radar' at other stores. Yesterday at Walmart with our groceries we got a Peter Pan coloring book. I just cannot get enough!! :thumbsup2

I am doing the exact same thing! I found a neat Chip and Dale T-shirt at Wal-mart the other day. It is really cute! I was surprised! I have a mini wardrobe for the kids to be surprised with on the trip. I also got my DD7 a new Cinderella gown and little tiara to be surprised with the night of our Princess Dinner.

There was a thread with pictures of children's faces in Disney. There was one of this precious little girl seeing Cinderella's Castle for the first time. I sobbed. That is a moment I am really eager to see with Mallory.

My husband says he's really worried about me! LOL

Do they still show Chip and Dale cartoons on Disney channel?

When I approach the front gates of the Magic Kingdom and hear "When You
Wish Upon a Star" playing........that's it for me. What up w'that??? :confused3
