I everyone! I have been lurking for about 4-5 months now and am finally introducing myself! I am a 26 year old married mom to two children. I mostly stay at home, but work one night a week just to get out of the house.
Well, we are leaving for Disney World in 9 days. We are flying (2.5 hours, hope I don't have a panic attack, I have control problems) from Indiana, to Florida with our children. My oldest is a girl, she is gonna turn 8 while there (she is STOKED!!!), and my youngest is a boy, who is 20 months. My husband will turn 30 later this year.
We are staying off site, at the Ramada there on the main hwy. We'll be in Disney for 3 days and I would like to be able to go to all of the parks, minus the water parks. We have parkhopper tickets. Would it be too much to try to do two parks in one day? Probably, huh? lol
It's been 12 years since I was last there, and this will be my husband's, daughter's, and son's first time to Disney.
I have everything pretty much ready to start packing. I went through the 36 page organization thread, and got some of the things that were mentioned there. I also went through the print off activities for the kids. So I feel like I have my ducks in row. Is there anything else I should know? Oh! Are we allowed to bring snacks and drinks with us in our bags in the parks? I heard they check through bags at the gate....
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I hope you guys are having a fabulous day, as it is overcast and raining here.
