Less Noisy Wishes Viewing Area?

I'd like to see Wishes on this Disney trip, but I'm not sure how my 19 month old son will like the noisy fireworks. He was OK with Illuminations in May, but I'm assuming Wishes is a little more intense fireworks experience (I haven't seen it yet!). I'm looking for a recommendation of a viewing spot that might be a little further away that would still offer a good view of the show. Any ideas? Any other suggestions for watching Wishes with a toddler? We are planning to see Spectro first if that impacts your suggestions. (or maybe we should see Wishes another night -- I'm open to ideas!). Thanks!

I'll be watching them one night from the beach at the Polynesian Resort. From what other helpful DIS'ers have been posting, it's good alternative to viewing them from inside the park. Should be a quiet place.

You would have to leave the park, but the view from the Poly is very good. We watched while eating at 'Ohana and I think I've heard that they also pipe in the music on the beach. I thought it would be too far away, but it was just as magical.

We stay at CR and have viewed Wishes from a few places there. California Grille would be the best, but I believe you have to eat dinner there to do so. We have also seen it from the 4th floor concourse balcony facing MK (opposite end of Chef Mickeys). I think they even piped the music in. However, some of the lower fireworks were hidden behind the trees. The other place weve seen them is in the north wing parking lot area. This isnt too great as the trees block a lot of it.

Any less noisy sopt within the Magic Kingdom? It seems a lot of books/sites recommend Fantasyland, which is colse to the action, but loud.

I think if your son handled Illuminations well, he should be able to handle Wishes. Illuminations has some of those really loud compression fireworks with the heavy, loud bang like a canon. I don't think there's anything in Wishes quite that loud. And if you stand well back on Main Street USA, you're far enough away so that it shouldn't be a problem, at least IMO.

We like to watch it from outside the gate, where you stand in line to go through the turnstyles. It is completely empty, and you can still hear the music (I wish Disneyland did that). It's great for people with small kids because they have room to run around while you are waiting for the fireworks, and then you get a jump on the transportation, too.

A fireworks cruise would be really nice if it is available and within your budget.

We have watched from Fantasyland. It's a less busy place, but the fireworks are shot off from there; at least a lot of them were being shot off from behind the Pinocchio restaurant (can't remember the name of it). I would pick it as a less congested place, but not less loud.

Not from THERE (view is blocked), but you CAN from the TTC area... but that's also just a short stroll from the Poly Beach.

The 6th camera is at the Poly Beach.
The quality over the internet is much lower/darker than the actual high-quality video, but you can see some of the show.

Hi, I TOTALLY agree with this post! The BEST place to watch Wishes and get the "FULL" effect of it is right on Main Street.We have stood in different spots but my FAV is "just step to the middle of Main Street as you exit the bakery". The only thing that might distract from your enjoyment is a LARGE group of young people.(they tend to enjoy the show with LOUD shouts and whistles) But families, especially with young children are usually so intent on the fireworks and music that they tend to be silent!
