Are we likely to see less characters around the parks when we go in July??? I don't want to miss out because of the humidity and heat. But I guess I would have to understand if it's too hot for the characters. :sad2:

I wouldn't think you'd see fewer characters. They might take breaks more frequently if they are outside.

I think more characters come out in july because there are more people in the park and they need to get more characters out there to give people something to do so lines wont get out of hand, at least thats what a cast member told me last year.:)

nope, they are always out in full force- they go in about every 20 minutes or so to get a quick water break (or get some cold nutterbutters for chip and dale - :) )but then they are right back out (sometimes its only a few seconds ) cause they love to meet so many guests.

When I was there the other week. I saw the Country Bears going inside, and the CM told me they go in after 15 minutes because of the heat but they come right back out.

Fur characters are only allowed 15-20 minute sessions during the summer months. You may have to wait for their "break" and the character comes back out (with a different human inside the costume)

Face characters are out a little longer, maybe 30 minutes before the swtich up.

There were plenty of Characters when we were there last July. Just as many as when we go over Thanksgiving.

We've been going in July for several years and always see LOTS and LOTS of characters!! Don't worry, they'll be there!!
