Les Chefs de France for lunch or dinner?

Les Chefs has Remy from Ratatouille 4 times a day Monday thru Saturday and his last appearance is at 5:00 I believe, so if you have children and think they would enjoy it ( and I hear its a must see) then I would choose lunch.

We've done both and were very impressed by the luncheon experience. Sadly, we were very disappointed by the dinner experience.

Lunch = great service, tasty food
Dinner = slow service, tasteless food

Can't understand how the same place can be so different.

Haven't been for dinner but lunch was good. Soup and a sandwich is lunchy to me. The path seems that goes by the back room windows seems to lead to a character area so we saw a few characters walk by and wave to us as we ate. It was fun.

Lots of people complain about the service but our server was a very personable young woman and the servers around us all seemed very pleasant!

We've had lunch here twice and dinner 3 times. The lunches were better than the dinners; both in food and service.

Have not been during lunch, we went to dinner and it was very late - saw Illuminations through the windows ;). We were expecting rushed service and iffy food since it was so late but we had a great time and the food was amazing. The restaurant is really beautiful at night :goodvibes Dinner at Chefs is on the top of my list for our next trip.

I have never eaten there for dinner, but I can say that the prix fixe lunch is one of my favorites on property! I've read on the Dis that some people have had bad dinner experiences at Les Chefs.

I've had both lunch and dinner at Les Chefs. Overall, I liked dinner better when on the DDP. My two favorites items are the onion soup and Plat de Cote de Boeuf au Cabarnet avec pates (beef short ribs braised in Cabernet with pasta, pearl onions and mushrooms), both of which are on the prix fixe dinner menu. The lunch menu has good options as well, but the prix fixe was very cheese heavy.

We had dinner there last December and our server was very nice and attentive. As for seeing Remy, his last scheduled rounds start around 5:20 pm, so it is possible to see Remy and have dinner.

When approximately does Remy make his rounds? Just want to make sure that if we're eating lunch at 12:20 on Weds 5/18, that we'll see him. Thx!

I loved my lunch there, it was a delish soup, quiche with a little salad and the profiteroles. I would do this again in a heartbeat

My dinner and my DH dinner was just terrible. The food was served cold, like it was ready and waiting in the window for the next person to order it. The short ribs were nothing but fat and the chicken was dry

I ate lunch there and enjoyed it. I did miss Remy though. He was on the other side of the restaurant.

I'm more of a restaurant lunch eater than a restaurant dinner eater because I like to have lots of time to digest the good food.

According to other threads Remy's schedule is:

12:30, 1:40, 2:50, and 5:20

Although the CM who booked my adr said 5:00 was his last show??

Our reservation was for 12:15. We were in the 'back' room (by the pathway/trees side). I saw Remy making his rounds a bit before 1pm and I was sure he would not stop by our table but...the handler was very efficient about stopping by each and every table. He went through that entire room in about 10 minutes. So I think we saw him about 1ish.

I am assuming we saw him later because he started in the front part of the restaurant and we were all the way in the back, in the back room (where the desserts come out/bar area).
