Lens question

Thanks everyone! Handicap18: Thank you for the great advice and making me feel O.K for still using film--You are right about my interest in the next step--and also for my love of photography(even if I am VERY simple about it) My favorite souvenir of any vacation is my pictures! That's why I am so fussy over all this stuff! I am sure learning SO MUCH by coming to this board!! I will keep on reading everyday!! :goodvibes

I guess I felt a little behind the times with my 35mm, but I just don't know if I'm ready to learn all the digital stuff with a DSLR-it seems so scary!! But all your help is VERY appreciated! :thumbsup2

Never feel bad about what you're shooting with here. As long as you're having fun who cares. I still shoot with my 35mm Nikons. I use digital when I travel because it's lighter and easier. I have a Sigma zoom that I love  so I did a search for it to show you what it looks like but there are many that are available from short to long zoom. Check it out.

Sigma, Tamron, Quantray all make lenses that will fit name brand camera bodies. I get Nikon mounts because all of my bodies are Nikon. Sounds freaky

DeboOoS: Thanks for the link! The lenses look great! I am checking with a locan Ritz Camera store today to see if they carry these. :thumbsup2
