Length of stay stroller rental?

Saw this question over on another board. It wasn't generating any answers over there, so I thought I'd try it over here. The origianl poster said something about hearing about this on her Mouseears newsletter. I must have missed it.
Does this exist?
Has any one used it and how much was it?

I don't think Disney do this, but there are some offsite companys that do, I htink one is called http://www.abbf.com/ I have seen it mentioned here, but haven't used them personally

Some of the car service companies offer this. I'm just not sure which ones.

Don't know the details except that Disney has just started at four week pilot program to guage customer response. I assume (hope) there is a discount for longer rentals and that the program includes stroller models that can be taken out of the parks (at least back to your resort or to Downtown Disney).

Sunday, August 3, marked the beginning of a four-week trial for a new "Length of Stay" Stroller Rental program that allows guests to rent a stroller or wheelchair for the duration of their visit. The Length of Stay rental applies only to rentals of two or more days, at all four Disney theme parks. From now until August 9, guests who purchase a Length of Stay Rental will also receive a certificate for a free one-day Pal Mickey rental, which must be used by September 30, 2003. (Guests who keep their rental Pal Mickey or exchange it for a retail toy must still pay the full purchase price of $46.94 plus tax.)

I'm reading this as in the parks only and not being able to take them out..also does not mention anything about price but I assume it would be somewaht (even a few dollars) cheaper,

We have used A Baby's Best Friend ( www.abbf.com ) and it was a wonderful experience: far less expenseive, much much more convenient, and so much more comfortable than a park stroller. It was delivered to our resort before we arrived, and picked up after we departed the resort. The lady that owns the company was a pleasure to deal with, as we reserved a stroller and a full crib also. The best thing going for this option vs. a park stroller is that it was with us 24/7. . . no waiting in lines, and no lugging children to the parking lots.

Are the strollers the bigger kind like they have at Disney? I need a stroller for my tall 5 year old. A regular umbrella/stroller won't work.

they have pictures on the website, but they are proper strollers not the park sort which is more like a cart.

We're arriving next thursday and planning to bring our own stroller, so this question was very relevent for me. I just called WDW-INFO and was told that the program is basically a 'pre-paid rental' with no discount. The first time you visit one of the theme parks during your stay, you prepay for the number of days you're staying and you get a 'voucher' which allows you to bypass the line and grab a stroller.

Doesn't sound like a very good deal to me. In fact, for people staying for long trips like us (10 days) it's actually a turn-off because there's no way I'm going to plunk down $150 (for a double stroller) just for the convenience of bypassing the payment line. I would consider it if the discount was substantial.

Of course, there's no way of knowing if the info I received is accurate. The CM I spoke with had nothing in front of him so he had to put me on hold and ask someone. Also, since it's a test, they could always modify it and perhaps add a discount, but I suspect they'd have to sell the LOS stroller passes at the resorts so they could tie them into your ressie (like UMPs).
