Last year when we stayed at VWL they offered a family plan for the entire stay for bike and boat rentals. This year we are going to be spending our trip home at the BCV (our first stay there). I was wondering if a similar plan is offered at the BCV or across the lake the the BWV?

Yes it is available at the Yacht club Marina. I called a few weeks ago and spoke to the person in charge at the Marina and he said it is good for up to a family of 5 and is $199.00+tax for length of stay.

I asked if I needed a reservation and he said just to come down with all members of the family at time of rental.

We have used this rental plan at BCV. There are watermice, canopy poats, and pontoon boats but there are no bikes. The watermice are MUCH slower than those at VWL.

When renting from BCV, how far can you actually go in the boats? The area seems awfully small compared to the Bay Lake area. I know there is no fair comparison in size, but is it worth it to rent at BCV?

I was wondering as well if it would be worth the los rental or if we should just try it once.

I have 2 teens, will the slow boats be safer , or will they be bored?

Is it worth the travel from bwv area to wilderness for the rental? That seems time consuming.

You can go as far as MGM Studios. You cannot get as close to Epcot as the boats that are part of the Disney transportation system. We don't regret having done in once but likely will not do it again because the boats are so slow. Although it's not as fun as at VWL, it is very convenient.

Thanks for the replies. After hearing your responses I have a couple of other questions. How many people may ride on the Pontoon Boats and Canopy Boats? Will they provide life jackets for young children (15 months) and/or all passengers required to wear one? Thanks again.
