Length of Kilimanjaro Safaris

I would love to do Kilimanjaro Safaris, but was wondering how long it takes. The My Disney Experience app mentions a day or night tour. Just wondering if it would actually take up half the day.

It definitely does not take half the day. It only takes 20-30 minutes, depending on animals in the roadway, etc.

The designations for night/day just mean there are two different experiences. It loads and runs continuously, like most other attractions. A large percentage of people think the nighttime experience isn't worth the time, so stick to the day!

The safari itself lasts about 20-25 minutes.

Each safari takes about 20-25 minutes. The day/night tours refer to that the attraction now continues to run after dark.

For the night tours, I've enjoyed walking on to some of the last trucks. It's a nice relaxing way to end the day at AK.

Usually about 20mn but do not be in a hurry to get anywhere after you ride. Animals frequently block the roads, and it can take 10-20 minutes (or more) for them to move.

We've done the safari at night a couple of times, couldn't see much of anything. If you have a bumpy road at home you can drive through at night, just do that and try something else at WDW
