Any guesses on how long a minor league baseball game takes? We are taking the daycare there next week, and I need to know what to tell the parents.

The average major league baseball game I would say lasts between 2 and 3/4 hours and 3 hours. I can't imagine it being a minor league game makes much of a difference.

A really quick paced game with few pitching changes will last about 2 hours 15 minutes. A 2 hour game is considered a REALLY FAST game.

A 3 hour game is considered a REALLY LONG game. One with a lot of pitching changes and the like.

On average, a minor league game should last about 2 hours 45 minutes.

Minor league games don't have all the breaks for commercials like major league, so I'd say 2 1/2 hours, 3 at the most.

I work at a minor league stadium and see alot of games and yes 2-3 hours is average. Todays game was 3 hours.

Our local Minor League team has a lot of breaks, they have contests in between innings.

Minor and Major have the same types of breaks - the breaks between innings and the break if they change pitchers. They don't stop major league games just for commercials.

Okay, I told the parents 4:30, so if the game is from 12-3, figure 30 minutes to have bathroom breaks and walk to the vans, then we should be back by 4.
