We are going to Legoland tomorrow :Pinkbounc Off to Travelodge in Reading tonight so we will be close to Windsor in the morning.

Wanted to post this last night but couldn't :badpc: so I am asking now. Can anyone tell me the best things for a 3 year old to see? He is just over a metre tall and quite adventurous pirate:

I have had a look at the website, but finding it hard to see what would be the 'best' attractions. Don't want to be going to these last and facing big queues.

Can anyone who has been offer advice - what to see first, what to avoid, likelihood of queues etc? Thanks in advance,

Sara. :)

He will have a great day. Arrive early (i.e when it opens) is the biggest tip I can give. He'll be too small for some of the rides, but there is still plenty to do. Queues form for the driving school and the fire brigade thing, but the rest tend to move quite well. I'd do the things like viewing the models last on your way home. Legoland is built on a steep hill, so it breaks up the trek back up, alternatively queue for the railway. My DD was 5 when we went so could do much more. There was also some sort of jungle safari thing that was a slow loader so you may want to hit that early too.

as above also

Duploland - wet play

orient expedition train (you get squirted)

the driving school is fab though DD crashed every corner!

We didn't get as far as the castle area last summer but |DD enjoyed playing with lego bricks and watching the bigger rides.

There are plenty of water fountains so take a bottle.

Take the train back up top (we never do and always regret it half way - it is a killer climb)

Have fun

Have a great time, the only time we went to legoland was about 2 months after our first trip to WDW so my Ds went round all day saying 'its okay, but its not Disney!'
It was good for what it was though and I'm sure your DS will love it.

This is the main reason I am taking him now, before we go to WDW in July!

Thanks for the tips, will be sure to take a water bottle, and definitely will get the train - I don't do walking up hills!

We went a couple of weeks ago and there is a new film showing in the cinema there which was proving very popular as there were very large queues for it.
