Legoland Swim Diapers?

I read on the Legoland site that they require swim diapers for anyone under 4 in the water area?.:sad2: Is this true? There is no way my DD who will be almost 4 when we go will wear any type of diaper, she will have been out of them for nearly 2 years by then. She decided one day she was not wearing diapers anymore and never looked back.

There's also no way they'll skip the water area. We just were at Tampa Aquarium and the kids played for hours in the water park.

Anyway....I guess my questions is do they enforce this? and Why would they require it for kids who are potty trained?

They don't enforce it, and I wouldn't worry about it. My DD was a few days shy of 4 when we went, and she didn't wear a diaper.

I would imagine it's only for kids who are still in diapers or training pants.

The reason for this is that many parents strip their kids down and let them play with no clothes or underwear on at all. This is a big problem with most people go with no shoes on and the little ones have accidents. There are kids there with no clothes on that are over the age of 4! I do not allow my kids to go into the water part of the parks for this reason. I do not see the swim diaper thing for 4 year olds but I wish they would make it manditory for swimwear or some type of clothes on all ages of children!

(can you tell this is my pet peeve?)
We have annual passes and see this a lot!

Uh, I definately think they should wear some type of swimwear. Didn't see anything like that at the Water Park we went to in Tampa. Most kids wore shoes too. Well, at least now that I'll know what to expect.

I'm just glad I don't have to head out and buy swim diapers for the trip. I'd have better luck talking DS into it (he'll be 5.5 by then)...but he's easier going about these things. DD...we'd have a melt down since she is "not a baby"....;)
