Legoland for the plus size mama?

Hey all! I tried searching to finding info, but had no success.

Will I be able to ride very many of the rides at LL? I am about 5'7" and wear about a size 24/26. I didn't have too much trouble at DLR last year. Some of the rides were a little tight if there was a bar or belt, but I was able to still ride.

I mostly want to know if I should be preparing my 8 year old that he will need to ride without me. I won't be too sad to miss most of the rides, I don't think.

I'm a 20, same height, and don't recall any problems. Aquazone was probably the tightest fit. Star Tours at Disneyland was worse.
