Lego Ninjago Help

My son is now into Legos. He loves the Ninjago. I am trying to find out if this is one of the "hot" items. He wants the green Ninja. I can't find it anywhere. I looked on Ebay and they are like $25 for one little green Ninja. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated!

I have bought a ton of stuff from bricklink.com - they are sort of an e-bay type site for legos only - you can purchase minifigs, sets, etc.

The only thing I would say is when you click on an item to purchase, to make sure it is in the US and to make sure there is no minimum purchase - some items can be as cheap as 22 cents (one I just got for my son was one of the Heroica microfigs) - and sometimes the seller will have a minimum of say $5.00. I usually have no problem finding a seller with no minimum.

They sell a green Lego ninjago keychain which you can find on eBay for $10 and then you just cut the keychain off it leaves a small whole on the head but my son doesn't mind at all

Just as a point of information... Yes, the green ninja is popular because he's the newest one in the series (and if you care about the backstory like my DS does, he's the son of their archenemy).

If you're going to WDW soon, make sure you check out the huge Lego store at DTD. We recently had one (smaller than the DTD one) open about an hour's drive from here and we make special trips out there. They have a wall of Legos where you can fill a bucket with the colors and styles you want and pay a flat price. They also have a a place to create your own minifigures (like 3 for $10). DS loves making new "guys" to add to his collection.
