I saw series 5 Lego Mini Figures at Target tonight for $2.99. Not sure if anyone had seen them yet, but I am sure they will go fast as stocking stuffers.
I found the code online that helps you know what each figure is, but I agree it's much harder ro tell with this series than with past series. THe dots on the packcage are much more faint.
So I have spent lots of time feeling those silly packs looking for a Gladiator. THat is the figure DH wants. I have bought a few, thinking they were the Gladiator... but no.
Can anyone tell me where in the store they are? In the Lego/toy aisle, or with Christmas/stocking stuffers? If I make it to Target today, it will have to be a quick trip. I need to be prepared! Thanks!

Each figure is unassembled in it's own package. Once you buy it (you don't know for sure which of 16 figures in the series you are buying) you assemble it to get your figure. But it's similar to what you make at the store.
Fake redhead: LOL- I can usually tell which figure I am holding by feeling it through the package. But I have not felt the round shield once! I gave up! The workers at Target were starting to look at me funny, I was there so long!
We have them in the toy aisle at both our Targets, in the front near the registers at Toys R Us, and with toys at Five Below. I did not find them at our Wal Mart.
Our target has been sold out for atleast a month but it was on a side end cap in toys.
There is cheat sheet online where you look for little raised dots but I find it easier to just feel. A lady and I went through it one night and each got our collection. It was nice having someone else help.

I've done the same, and it is so much more fun with someone else! We'd rejoice when we found something one of our kids wanted. I joke with the store employees about fondling their Lego packages, but I've gotten every single one DS asked for without a mis-step, so it's been successful. DS LOVES those things.
