And has anyone ever been? I have heard that the Legends of the Hidden Temple (Nick) is filmed there, but do not know for sure. If so what is the deal with it, can anyone go and watch? Is it at the main Universal park? Thanks in advance.

Unless there is a new version I don't know about, Legends of the Hidden Temple DID tape in Orlando, as did all Nick gameshows around that time period.

The problem is that the show was filmed back in the early 90's (Like '91-93-ish). So, it is no longer in production, and even if it was it would be taped in Hollywood since Nick Studios no longer exists.

Listen to Slacking. I don't know which shows are re-runs and which are still in production. The Nick studios here is being transformed for the Blue Man Group.

My 10 year old has just discovered Nick Gas on cable. He is loving all the old game shows such as Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts, Double Dare 2000 and Figure it Out.

The prizes are really interesting though. Last week, on LOTHT, a kid won a cassette walkman. It was amusing trying to explain to a 10 year old the difference between a cassette walkman and an IPOD.

It's funny, he likes these shows much more than the new cartoon direction Nick has decided to go.

DS16 loves to tease DS10 that he actually saw one of the shows being filmed way, way back during one of the tours they used to have.

Watching the shows does bring back nostalgic reminders of slime and corny games. After every program, it says it is filmed in Universal Studios, Orlando with a shot of the old Nick building and the slime machine.

if you ever make it to the Nick Hotel, they have photos and production dates of various Nick shows that were taped at USO.

I've read on IOAC that the backlot buildings at USO have plaques that list the shows that were taped there.

my daughter got to appear on Slime Time Live, and it was a highlight of her little life.

I obviously have too much time on my hands this morning, because I actually googled Legends of the Hidden Temple.

It was filmed between 1993 - 1995.

Here is a website with everything you wanted to know about it, and then some. (All the temple layouts, every episode, etc.)

I wish they would bring it and many of the Nick games back. There was even one that was similar to American Gladiators. I use to watch all of those with DS when he was little, and he's 17 now.

I was reading a bunch of those plaques (of things filmed at UO) while in line for Psychoscareapy during this past HHN.

The American Gladiator-style show is Nickelodeon Guts. They still air that on GAS and I'll still watch it when nothing else is on (Oh Mo.... you've stolen my heart, lol)
