Legend of the Tag Fairies

I was wondering if someone (anyone) can tell me the "history" of the Tag Fairies.

Where did it begin?

Why did it begin?

How many are there?

What does it mean to be a TF?

How does one attract a TF?

What does it mean when one is tagged?

Anymore information would be wonderful. Just wondering.

I love the whole idea of the TF and think it is so cool.

If I remember right, the Tag Fairies started right here on the Community Board early last summer.

Why it began? Who knows? I think just to make people smile.

How many? No one really knows for sure, just that there are more than 1 and less than 100.

The tagging began arbitrarily, such as when someone made a funny comment or had a funny experience. The next thing you know, it was in their tag and in living colour too!! Now, there are threads on the Theme Parks, Resorts, Cruise and this board with tag requests, it is an epidemic!!!

What does it mean to be a Tag Fairy? No one knows for sure, but I think it is just to bring smiles to people who visit this place.

The clapping and offering of special treats and promises of cold, hard cash usually seem to get the Tag Fairy's attention.

Anyone is tagged, it doesn't mean that one person is more special than another. Everyone who visits here is special in their own way! (Why do I suddenly feel like putting on a cardigan??)

There is a Tag Fairy Duct Tape Patrol whose mission is to protect the secret identities of the Tag Fairies. The link to the thread of how that began is found in this thread and it is quite funny!

Don't listen to anything Zurgie has to say. It doesn't say "Evil" under his name for nothin'!!!!!

Tracy you need to know that Zurg is the leader of the greyside who are out to defeat the tag fairies. Never believe what they say. They are evil! There nemisis is the duck tape patrol whose mission is to protect the tag fairies from the evil greyside.

Ok tag fairies started up about a year ago, maybe a little more,(can't believe its been that long) here on the cb. We don't know who they are they just come when they want or when we have suffiently beg them to spread their pixie dust on a diser. I'm sure that others could tell you more, just watch out for the greyside.

Be aware that the Tag Fairies get EVERYWHERE!


They've even been known to travel "across the pond" you know!

All I know about the tag fairys are THEY TAGGED ME. It is so neat to have a tag. But how do they know what to tag? And they get it right as well.. I like my tag. Do they change them or add more? Do you have to offer them something to get them to "see" your post?
