Legacy Dunes

Hello, very interesting post. Legacy Dunes was an apartment complex in the early 2000's that went condos in mid 2000's looking to make a killing. 12-18 months ago they were offering condos for way under 50K for sale. They had run into huge financial problems and had become a little rough around the edges. Looks to me like some investors went in and bought up the condos at a rock bottom price and are now back in the rental business. Looks like they do monthly and weekly rentals.

It is a great location that just became a huge victim of the real estate melt down. Trip advisor has some very nice comments about recent rentals there.
The reason you have no responses is probably because they just started renting again after some renovation. There are some of us on this board who have some long term experience with the rental market around Disney but are not connected at all to real estate sales. We continue to watch and be very interested in the rental situation around Disney. I have owned a rental home near Disney, rented by the week many times, and now rent a home by Disney for 3 months in the winter. I have watched this developement go on the roller coaster from new to disaster and wondered what would happen to it. It is just too good a location to fail forever. If I had lots and lots of money to invest, this place would have been a good bet a year or so ago.
If you go let us know what you think...
Good Luck...Ted
