If we order a bottle of wine at a sit down restaurant and don't drink all of it, can we take the leftover back to our room?

A few years ago at Jiko our waiter packaged up our bottle to take back to our room.

Here in Canada that would be a no no. But then we aren't allowed to open carry liquor. From what I have seen of our friendly neighbors to the south I can't see why not. :)

Within a resort, yes. To drive back to a resort, I'm less certain. However, I will say that we dined at an offsite restaurant last July, and they gladly packed up our leftover wine to take back to our Disney room. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of Florida laws can say for certain.

According to this Florida is a state that allows it.

I remember when NY made this a law to encourage people to take home instead of consuming more than they should.
Never did it though. We have no problem finishing the bottle. Lol

It isn’t an open carry. The restaurant must seal it
