If I come home after a trip to WDW and have any unused balances on Disney gift cards, where can I spend them? Just at Disney parks & resorts, Disney Store, and Disney Store online? Also, does the balance ever expire or decrease if not used after a period of time?

They dont expire. I just checked a few that I had used two years ago, and they still had a couple dollars on each, I am just going to use the rest on my next trip.

Also I don't think the balance decreases either.

Coming home from Disney and still having money left..I didn't know that was possible.:lmao:

You can always use the money to put a deposit down for another trip :rotfl:

But yes, you can use them at the places you have listed above. If we have leftover balances on the card, we usually use then at the Disney Store.

this happened to us once and I used what was left over ( like 9 dollars) at disney store online for something my son had been wanting. Of course it was not enough to cover the item, but every penny counts.

Thanks everyone. I will be talking to our band parents about the gift cards, and wanted to have my facts straight before I presented the information to them. Our band will be performing in the 3 pm MK parade on March 27th. :)
I purchased mine online, and I was told the Disney gift cards are available at Target and Walgreens. Do you know where else they can be purchased, and in which denominations?

Our Lowes store has them in 25 and 50 dollar amounts. You can order them from disney, but i am not sure they would have enough time to get them ordered and in the mail. Of course if there is a local disney store then that would be agreat place to get one as well. What area are you in and maybe someone who knows your area can suggest some more places.

I live near Canton, OH. Our local Disney store has closed, but there is Toys R Us, Lowes, Walgreens, Target, and Giant Eagle. If they're available at these locations, that will be sufficient. Also, the ones I ordered online from www.DisneyStore,com came in about a week, so I think we have enough options. Thanks.

Kroger and Sam's club have them too. Sam's club had $50 for something like $48.88 and $100 for $98.88. At target if you use your target credit or debit, you get 5% off. If you buy them at Kroger, you get fuel points.
