We checked out this past Saturday from WLV and realized that we left our memory card in a teacup in our room. Since then I have been calling the hotel to try and get someone to just go to the room and look for us but cannot get anyone to help!
I have spoken to the front desk...they sent me to lost and found (left msg)...called the front desk again...they sent me to housekeeping, who sent me to lost and found (no answer again). And the housekeeper told me that I should have asked for a manager on Saturday because lost and found is closed on weekends. Well, why didn't anyone tell me that before they transferred me? Called the front desk again...asked for a manager...transferred to guest services to transfer me to a manager. Got a "manager" on the phone and he heard my story and put me on hold. Then came back and told me he would have a manager call me. I said, "I thought you were a manager." He says, "no, I am an assistant to the manager." Okay...
So now I am waiting to hopefully get a call from someone - manager, lost and found, etc. to just check for me but I am losing hope as I am sure housekeeping probably chucked it by now. Such a bummer.
I even tried calling the room to see if I could leave a message for the guests staying there to see if they could check for me and bring it to the front desk, but they wouldn't let me through without a name.
I think this is what you would call...the runaround!
Any suggestions??
