Anyone have any experience with this? I'm a lefty and trying to figure out how this works. (Yes, duh - it hangs the camera on the left hand side! :thumbsup2 )

I've got a black rapid sport strap that I love as I can just pick up the camera with the grip using my right hand, take the shot, lower it and let it go. All with one hand! (I use a light lens and a small camera) It seems to me that with the left handed strap I'd have to grab the camera by the lens and then bring it up to be gripped by the right hand or still use the right hand to cross my body and grab the camera by the grip.

I'm all for supporting my... superior handedness but I'm not sure how this makes things better... unless I find a left handed grip too... (maybe they sell those in Europe? :lmao: )

I carry two DSLR's w/grips by converting two single BR RS-4's into a double system. The left camera is raised just as you describe by lifting at the lens/camera junction into the right handed grip of the camera. My left side is usually a 70-200 f2.8 and the right is a 28-70 f2.8. After you have done it for awhile it just seems natural. As the camera comes up to my eye the left hand rotates under the lens for support and right onto the zoom ring. For me it works beautifully.
