I'm now on book 6. Anyone else on here read them? I've been averaging a book every 2-3 days. I should have them all read in a couple of weeks. Definately have to have the next book on hand before finishing one. Those darn cliffhangers they leave you with....

I loved reading these books one right after the other. I was a late starter and started when there were already 8 out (I think). They are great and really made me think!

I've read all of them, but the last one. I keep forgetting to buy it. They are soooo hard to put down!

I finished the last on about three months ago. Lots to think about! I do think the series got too drawn out toward the end but I am glad to have had the illustration of what the times described in the Book of Revelations may be like.

Who is the author and are they mysteries, romance, suspense, sorry, I just love a good book and especially if they are a series.

I've only read the first two, but they were very good.

Kirk Cameron and Chelsea Noble starred in a movie version of the first book, or it might have been a combination of the first two. It wasn't a great movie but worth seeing if you enjoy the series.

These books are so special to me. My 19YO DS was killed in an auto accident almost four years ago. He read everything he could get his hands on from a cereal box to the bible. I saw these in his room or carrying one around and asked him about them. He said they were awsome and I really should read them. I believe he had five or six when he was killed. Of course, I started reading them and just devoured them. I have grabbed up each as it is released. My younger DS have also read them and he enjoyed them very much. There is a second part to the movie out. The movies are not as good as the books, but they never are. In fact you can find them at Wal-Mart for $5.99. I am so pleased that my son read these before he was killed. Like I said, they are very special to me.

I love these books! I started when there were 4 books out and had to wait for the next book to be released. It almost always coincided with a trip to Disney so I would buy it for the ride! I always try to pace myself but I was done before we even arrived at Disney :( . I am sorry to see them end.

ohMari, These are a series centered around the Tribulation (the period of time after Christ comes back to take Christians living and dead to heaven and before the time when he returns to rule on earth - it's 7 years long). The book of Revelation in the Bible prophecies this time. The series is about a group of people who are "Left Behind", i.e. not Christians at the Rapture, who become Christians and their battles against the Anti-Christ.

I think the books are excellent, but I never could finish the last one. It's mainly describing the battles, and I was much more interested in the people.

I purchased the first one and a friend saw me reading it and said that she had the whole series and if I enjoyed the first one, she would lend the others to me. I also was reading one book about every 2 -3 days. They are really fascinating and easy to breeze through. I really enjoyed all of them.

DW & I read them all. Great series. Really helps illustrate the book of The Revelation (or at least their educated opinion of such).

:wave2:

I agree, very easy reads. I've read the whole series. I really thought they were interesting as well. I read the first four after they had already come out and then had to wait each time for the next to be published. I agree about the cliffhangers!!

I have read them all. The last one was a little disappointing to me, but I still read it. I liked the series overall. :)

I have read them all also. The first ones kept my interest more than the lst ones. The last few seemed a little drawn out.

I read them all too! I loved them in the beginning, but this last one was kind of disappointing! I just don't think this is how it will be at the end.

I read the whole series from May thru July of this year. I did enjoy them, but the "politics" kind of slowed me down. But glad to say I read them all!...................P

I have read them all and loved them. They are very enjoyable reads, and I enjoyed learning what some religious scholars think the last days will be like. I enjoyed both the Biblical base and the fictional characters. There are definitely parts of the book that had me in tears of thankfulness.

Dh and I read the whole series and loved it! We started when book #9 was about to come out. It was hard waiting for the next ones!

DH and I read them, and loved them. Otto also got the Books on Tape to listen to on the way to work. (The Base is 45 minutes away).
