I'm thinking ahead for our trip in September (for our anniversary and my 30th bday). I'd love to try Le'Cellier because of the raves on this board. Our son will be almost 2 when we go. Has anyone taken a child his age there? Right now he acts fine at restaurants. He's a big people watcher, sits in his high chair checking out what's going on around him. But of course I don't know if this will all change in a few months. :rolleyes2

We just got our ADR's for April to Le'Cellier and we have will have a 1 1/2 daughter who is a perfect angel when we go out to eat and we have a 2 1/2 son who has his moments. My thought is we are inside the park and im not too worried about it. I know there are some restraunts with dress codes now. Those will be the restraunts I will be keeping my littles ones away from.

Can't wait to see the response! We've got ressies in April and DD will be 23 months old and she's not exactly consistent with restaurant behavior...she's not horrible-don't get me wrong but once she hits her limit she wants to get out an explore (which I think is normal at that age) and DH and I usually take turns taking her out to the lobby while the other one finishes up.

I wouldn 't worry about it. We've taken may kids there and my two year old will be there again next month. Kids are in all of the restaurants at disney (except Victoria and Alberts). And as a side note as a parent we all know that the little ones aren't on their best behavior all the time.....

Besides my husband and I have perfected the art of speed eating to deal with the crazy moments! !!:rotfl:

We are an all adult group, have eaten at Le Cellier several times. First of all, this place is noisy. Very Noisy. Secondly, last time we were there, I heard the CM upfront tell a group that they were out of high chairs because they were all currently being used. :rotfl: There are a lot of children dining here. If your child is screaming, hopefully you would take him/her outside but other than that, a noisy exhuberant child is going to fit in just fine.

You should know that the tables are very cramped here, you will be sitting on top of your neighbor. And there is no lobby to speak of. The grounds immediately outside are beautiful and would be a great place to take a break/stroll.

Speed eating is the best. Last night we went to Red Lobster pulled up to the restraunt at 5:15 and was back in the car in 30 minutes. The waiters always love getting our drink, appitizer and entree order as soon as they come to our table. We end up studying the menus from home before we get there. Makes life easier if the little ones arent locked up for as long.

:goodvibes We took a barely 3 yr old and a 5 mo. old. Our 3 yr. old is not ususally very good in restaurants. It was pretty noisy & busy in there so when she acted up no one really noticed. Plus they sat us in a seat where she was by a wall so that helped. I think it being Disney they are used to kids so I would not be concerned. Just go & have a good time, if the kids act up just remember it happens all the time and everyone there know they are at Disney, and where there is Disney, there are kids!

Well, we're bringing our twin boys, who will have just turned two in April. I figure we're in Disney World- which means there will be kids. Anyone who gets upset b/c a little one has a melt down in any restaurant, needs to go outside and remind themselves where they are!!!

As parents, we do the best we can to keep them happy, but I wouldn't worry too much if your son has a fit. Have a great meal! :wave2:

You will not have a problem at all. The food is 'upscale' but the atmosphere is very kid friendly. Both our children (now 5&6) enjoyed it when they were 2&3 then again at 4&5. Another great thing I notice here is that not only is the service excellent but it is fast..which is nice when you have little ones..no lingering required. ;)
