Book them as soon as you can! Today I booked my ADRs for our trip. I wanted Le Cellier for 7/12--5 months out--and it was completely booked, no tables for 5! I hurriedly looked at my itineraries and asked for a few other dates. I booked 7/15 at 5:50--and this was the latest ADR I could get for a family of 5 the entire week (7/11-18) we are there! They had some 4:00, 4:20, etc. left, but nothing later. Feeling lucky to get one at 5:50 I grabbed it.
So the moral of the story...this place is getting more popular all the time, so book it as soon as you are the right number of days out and have your itineraries ready...at least if you have 5 people!

For anyone who can't get a dinner ADR, how about trying for lunch?
I was able to book at late lunch- 2:30pm ADR at less than two months prior to our trip. :thumbsup2

I just tried to add it for our group of 5 on June 6. My choices were 4:00 or 9:00.

Feeling lucky? I am. I got my adrs at the exact time I wanted for less than 3 weeks from now :)

I guess I was lucky too...booked my ADRs about 20-30 days out for a trip last week, and got LeCellier for the exact time we wanted (6:30 pm). But on both this trip and a December 2004 trip, they were turning away walk-ups. So this is one table-service place where ADRs are definitely needed! (every other place this trip was taking walk-ups with about a 35-45 min wait)

I made my adr yesterday for 3 weeks frome now and they had 8:10 and 8:30 left. I took what I could get. ::MickeyMo

I booked le cellier for the 18th of july my adr's are at 7:00. I booked mine in january.

I think the issue may be for a party of 5. No doubt they are getting more popular and you need to book fairly far out advance, but if I remember correctly LeCellier is entirely set up for parties of 4 and if you have 5 or more they need to put two tables together.

I agree. I think the 5 people thing makes it much harder there.

Mine is for a party of 6... so it can be done. Although probably wouldn't try to make adrs so late in the summer.

I made mine for party of 5 for June 15. I made my adr though about 4 weeks ago and made them for 7:00 pm. They told me that they should be able to put 2 tables together because it is set up for parties of 4. I don't know why but it is. I posted about this earlier and someone that used to work at Le Cellier said that they would never split up a party of 5 but we may have to wait longer to get 2 tables together. We could not be split up because it is myself, husband, 2 kids, and mom.

I agree, I just booked today for the 16th and got exactly the time I wanted for our party of 4.

I booked our ADR for LeCellier right at our 180 day mark because I know they are getting hard to get and I need them for a party of 7. I was able to get an ADR for 6:00. I wouldn't even think of changing that one because I know they go quickly. If you can't get it for dinner how about trying for lunch?

Try and call and ask for 2 separate tables. I know that sounds silly, but the problem with Le Cellier is that we only have a couple 6-top tables that come up in the reservation system. Of course, booking on 2 separate tables means that there is the possibility that you may not sit together, but our assigners are great and they do a great job sitting usually sitting parties together. The other option is calling WDW and asking to be connected to Le Cellier directly. We can book tables for you as well. I know our restaurant is very, very popular, but I have a hard time believing that we are that booked up for July already. I'll have to check into this at work tomorrow, just so I know.

Good Luck,
Sandra :)

Yes, book LeCellier as soon as possible! It is a small restaurant and very popular.

So is it true then that they will not split up a party of 5? I have myself, husband, mom, and 2 kids. We cannot sit separate. I only booked one table though as far as I know. But the cm did say that they should be able to push 2 tables together. Now, I am worried again. Maybe I should book somewhere else. Thoughts?

Booking it 3 weeks from now is far different than booking it in July, for sure. I can see why there'd be times available in March since it's still considered the slow season---although, I'm starting to think there's no such thing as a slow season at Disney anymore. :rotfl:

But the idea of booking ADRs for any of the summer months right now is the only way to go! We're going out there for a few days in June & yet I booked all my ADRs well over a month ago because I needed specific times, which I did get. I didn't want to take any chances!

mommyaof2, I don't think you'll be at separate tables unless they asked about it. When I was checking on the 12th, she offered me the option of sitting at 2 tables, but it is me, DH, and our 3 kids, 11,14 and 8 in July...this is one of our nicer choices and I wanted to sit with DH, but didn't want to "inflict" a table of 3 kids on the rest of the diners! I don't mind the 5:50 ADR Iwas able to get, I was just surprised that it was the latest time I could get in 7 nights of dinners. Oh well, I just wanted people to know about it, esp. people with larger families.

I have been trying to get into this restaurant for the better part of a year, however it has been with a months or less notice (sometimes just a day or two :rotfl2: ). It just takes planning. We specifically planned for this upcoming trip. We booked in December for next Wednesday (Feb. 22). I am hoping it is worth all of the hype - if we enjoy it (and I am sure we will) we will be booking very soon for August.

I booked yesterday for a party of 6, June 13th and the only time left was 8:50.
