Has anyone been there? Is the chocolate mousse really gone?

WHAT????? That would be terrible!! I loved the "moose"!! Next they'll take away the steak & soup!

I was just there on the 11th and didn't eat dessert, so didn't notice anything about the Mousse.

There are several changes though mainly the filet mignon with the sauce over the potatoes is no longer available. There is another filet available now over mushroom something. it is also around $36...much higher than the old filet if I recall correctly.

Overall, our family was pretty disappointed. We even canceled another ADR we had for our trip last week.

I did overhear 3 other customers ask them about the old filet mignon. If they don't bring it back (at the regular price!), they are crazy.

Well, my DH is asking me cancel he is a picky eater and the menu no longer appeals to him... So he said if it is true the mousse is gone...get rid of the ADR....
and it appears to be not on the new menu...
some had said they thought it was on the kids menu last year, but I know it was not my son was disappointed he couldn't get it!!!!

If anyone decides to cancel their ADR because of the menu change DH and I are looking for a table for 2 for our anniversary trip Sep 13, 15-18 (shameless begging I know but this is our fav restaurant and dh is very dissappointed we haven't been able to get it)

I am really disappointed also about the maple filet being removed from the menu. How is the mushroom filet? Is it covered in mushrooms or are they on the side?

We have reservations in May and this will be our first time eating there. We are looking forward to the Moose so I hope it is still being served. I checked on all ears website and the menu was updated in March and the Moose was on the lunch menu for sure. I hope this is true. With all the recent changes and how much we are reading about people not being happy with the menu and price increases , we are not even sure if we should eat there. I guess we will read some more reviews...

Hi NC!!! We have a lunch ADR for LC in September. Was the Moose on the menu, or did you just ask for it? (I'm actually looking forward to Maple Creme Brulee!) How was everything else?

I too am disappointed by the removal of the maple filet. We have had this a number of times in the past and my wife and I have always enjoyed it, though my daughter prefers it without the maple sauce. Though not inexpensive we thought the price reasonable considering the location.

However, only my wife would want a filet topped with mushrooms. The rest of the family would order it bare - a shame considering the new price of the only filet on the menu. Even with our DDE discount it would likely cost the three of us over $120 for filets for supper. Ouch ! For $2.01 more I could have the filet at Jiko which many - including myself - consider to be the best on property.

Disney - if you're reading this : Please bring the maple filet back !
