I will finally be eating at LeCellier for the first time next week. But now my dilema...what to order?!

I love Filet Mignon so that was my first thought; however, I also love shrimp & scallops so the "Sauteed Shrimp & Bay Scallops" sounds yummy. Would it be silly to order anything but steak at this steakhouse?

What do YOU like at LeCellier?

I loved the Filet at Le Cellier. When I had it in June it came with cream cheese mashed potatoes. Delicious:thumbsup2

Don't forget about the Cheddar Cheese soup! Dip your breadstick in the soup Yum-O

Thanks for the feedback, glad to know I can't go wrong with either dish. Guess I'll just have to go with my mood that day. Thanks! :thumbsup2

It might sound weird but I enjoyed the soup with the one burger with blue cheese on it and the potato salad on the side.

That doesn't sound wierd at all, right now that sounds pretty darn good too!

This is my first choice too. It is so yummy! I can clean my plate easy.

We are doing LC lunch in Jan. I called 2 days ago (ok late I know) to try and get dinner ADR for 1/10, for a last minute one day trip. Nothing for dinner at all. Took a 130 lunch.

Here's my question: I have dreams of the filet and risotto I had at our dinner last year. Doesn't look like they offer the risotto at lunch. Think they;'d substitute it for the mashed pot?

Oooh, I tried Le Cellier for the first time for lunch last month (we usually go at dinnertime) and loved their prime rib sandwich. It's sliced prime rib, excellent quality (no fat or gristle). It was fabulous! I heard one of the other guests talking about it as we were waiting to be seated, and was so glad I tried it.

This is definately going to be a new place to try on my next trip. Thanks for the info.

I do know this, if they can they will. I would just ask them.

DH and I had dinner at Le Cellier last week. The filet is excellent. It was so tender that I was able to cut it with a fork.

And our server, Patrick, was just as excellent. We were using the dining plan, so tip was included, but I passed him an additional $10 and included an additional tip on our alcohol bill.

I'm pretty sure I've read that the risotto is not prepared at lunch. Sorry

Was Patrick a tall good looking young with brownish hair and very charming?? Last year our server was named Patrick and he wouldn't seat us because he couldn't pronounce our last name lol

My vote is for the filet...when we were there a month ago, My Mom had the shrimp and tho it was good...the filet is there signature dish and sooooo much better.

I would say definatewly get the Cheddar Soup, I love that stuff(it's amazing)

Believe it or not I have made the soup a couple of times, at home from one of Disney's recipe books, and it is almost as good. It's always better when someone else makes it lol

We are eating there for lunch Tuesday and all this talk is getting me hungry! I can't wait to try the filet and the cheddar cheese soup.

During my Le Cellier lunch in July, I had the Cheddar Cheese Soup and the 5 oz. Filet Mignon. Both were excellent if you want a smaller lunch. :)
