So, we've never been here before and I got us a resv. for lunch-still worth it? what's good? :thumbsup2 thanks

I really liked lunch at Le Cellier in December, but starting on March 1, Le Cellier becomes a Signature dining experience for dinner. It will remain a 1 credit place for lunch, but there has been speculation that the menu will change for both meals.

If the menu remains the same, then our favorites were the Filet Mignon, the Le Cellier hamburger, and Cheddar Cheese Soup & Pretzel bread sticks.

We only ever go for lunch here and this is one of our must do restaurants. Like the PP mentioned, Le Cellier is changing to a Signature restaurant which means there is speculation that the menu will change too. I am really hoping that they still have the fillet with mushroom risotto on it because that is my favorite thing on the menu (DH's favorite too), along with the cheddar cheese soup/pretzel bread and the chocolate "moose" dessert :love:.

We only do Le Cellier for lunch. It is amazing!!!!!!

We each get the Cheddar Cheese Soup, Pretzel bread and the cheeseburger.

So delicious! :love::goodvibes

We normally only eat at Le Cellier for dinner, but our last trip in December we decided to try lunch. We were happy with our meal, but the coouple at the next table referred to a steak sandwich as worse than 'dog food'. Guess its all in what you order-Ü

I also had the prime rib sandwich. It was very dry, not enough prime rib and too much bread.:sad2:

Amazing! I had the burger and my DH had the gnocchi. Everything was perfect. The soup, pretzel sticks, the mousse - I'm ready now.

Our server was another story - not that great.

We are going for lunch again in May. Hoping for the same great food and a different server.

Did you like the new hamburger? We loved the older version called the steak-burger on the sour dough bread, but most of us were disappointed in the new burger (during our trip in Nov. 2010) with the ton of toppings with the dry standard WDW roll. Many in our group also got the prime-rib sandwich (steak sandwich) and most complained it was too dry and won't order it again. I generally just get the ceasar salad and split it and the cheese soup.

We ate there twice on our last trip and the fillet with mushroom risotto was so good the first time, DH and I both ordered it again the second. Both of my kids had the prime rib (that was dinner and I am not sure if it is offered at lunch) and we all agreed that they were not nearly as good as the fillets, which were excellent and possibly the best steaks I have ever had.

Le Cellier is one of my favorite restaurants and yesterday I managed to get a lunch reservation for my upcoming trip in April. I love it when I am randomly checking for an adr after many unsuccessful tries and one magically shows up as is what happened yesterday! Like most everyone else, I love the cheese soup and pretzel bread. In December I had the steak salad and it was okay - not great. The filet is always very good and I really want to try the hamburger.

Yes! We went this past September for lunch, our first time there so I can't compare it to a dinner meal. I ordered the filet and substituted in the mashed potatoes instead of the risotto or whatever it originally came with and it was delicious! However it was VERY salty, but I love salt so it didnt bother me. DH ordered the strip steak and really enjoyed his as well. Our son slept through most of the meal but when he woke up he loved all the bread sticks. It was one of our favorite meals during our trip and we can't wait to go back! :thumbsup2
