LeCellier Booked

How can so many places be booked solid already. How frustrating.
Guess thats the curse of free dinning. Hopefully we will be able to secure ADR before the trip.

Not surprised~that's what sucks about the free dining. It's getting to the point where it's not even enticing anymore. Keep trying though, something might open up.

when we went to Disney we asked what times do you have available for this day.......that way it opened up more times......and we were able to go to four of our favorites ...minus Le Cellier

When it comes to Le Cellier, the way to book it is to call 180 days before your trip, and request Le Cel first (I was booking 8 ADR) Then, you have a good chance of getting in at a time thats at least near to if not exactly what you want. Other than that, have a great steak dinner elsewhere, as far as I can tell

I don't understand the huge appeal of Le Cellier. I'm not knocking it or anything, don't get me wrong! I've never been there because my family isn't big on steaks or meat in general, but I just think it's funny the seemingly most popular restaurant in WDW is a steak house in Canada! I'm going in about 2 months, and I'm curious to call and ask if I could get an ADR there.. just to see if it's possible.

I know most people (including us) like to have their big meal at dinner time, but if you really want Le Cellier you may want to try for lunch. I was able to get my choice of several lunch times on the day we wanted when I called last week, even though there were no openings for dinner the entire week we're there! Good luck!

Lunch at Le Cellier is even better than dinner at Le Cellier. We go for lunch if dinner is sold out and it is great! The beef tips with the udon noodles and steamed veggies is out of this world. They will make the BBQ filet for lunch but not the Mushroom filet.

We got it for lunch on Saturday, Sept 8th at 1:20pm. I'd rather have steak for lunch anyway because it is so heavy. I asked if they had dinner ressies open for a family of 5 that day & they said yes but they were very late & there was no way I could make a 5&6 yr old eat steak after 8pm. I made my ADR's about a month ago.

Is anyone going Sept 6th? I think that is the day I have a ADR that I am cancelling. We are going at Christmas instead. It would be for a table of 4 between 5-5:30 I don't have the info at work. this ADR is for Le Cellier I also have

Can you call and have them switch and ADR to someone else or what do you do to give it to someone else?

Its not necessarily a huge appeal....Its mostly that the
restaurant is very small, so limted seatings...
and with families of at least 4 mostly going to wdw these days, if not more
a single family can take 2 tables for one ressie

maybe the smallest one I have been in at wdw

I have been trying all month to get an ADR there. There are sold out for the entire week we are there.

I accepted a lunch ADR but I also backed it up with one in Germany for dinner. I know that LeCellier would be better but what can you do. They must be really busy.

I need a Kona for that week too and so far I can't get in there either.

We've eaten lunch at Le Cellier and it was fantastic! If you're paying OOP, the prices are a little cheaper too. We were certainly full after our lunch and just had a light snack that night instead of dinner. We were lucky enough to get an ADR there for dinner for our upcoming trip with free dining.

I've been very lucky with all the ADRs I booked for our free DDP trip - got every restaurant I wanted at the time I wanted it. I've made some changes (as late as last night ) and had no problems.

Good luck getting the ADRs you want - don't give up!

It's great of you to offer, I am going the following week but I know someone can use them (especially LC). If you make a new post I'm sure you'll have a taker within minutes!

I know that when my dad phoned to make our ADRs we got everything except for dinner at Le Cellier, so we had a team meeting and it looks like we're going there for lunch instead! Sometimes I would rather have a bigger meal in the middle of the day as opposed to close to bed time...

It's not necessarily related to free dining. We couldn't get dinner at Le Cellier in January, and I started trying around October. Did lunch instead and really enjoyed it!
