We just had lunch at LeCellier on Thursday and while we were waiting for our table a couple of groups came in without ADR's asking if there were any open tables. The CM told them LeCellier was completely booked thru the end of August.

I jumped right up and made an ADR for our upcoming F+W Festival trip in Oct. We've made it a tradition to eat there the last day of our trip and I didn't want to get shut out!

I'm guessing part of that sell out is the free DP for the latter part of August, but that's still pretty amazing that every slot would be booked from now until Sept.

I'm sure they are busy but I just made ADR for July 19 for a party of 4 and I had my choice of times. If anyone is thinking about eating here you might still want to call and check. :sunny:

That's too funny. I wonder if they only open up so many tables at a time and open up a few more each week? The CM definitely told 2 separate groups they were booked until Sept.

I agree with you. You should always try for an ADR if you want to eat at one of the more popular restaurants. And keep trying back if you don't get what you want the first try. There are always cancellations.

I just made an ADR for our trip in Dec At Le Cellier. We have never eaten there before, so I am really excited. The CM said that there aren't any large tables there, that they have to push them together. We are a family of 5, and he said that although they try to keep people together, they can't promise it. He made it an ADR for a table of 2 and a table of 3. Does that sound right???

Maybe there were not any tables of 5 left because we just returned and I had an ADR for 5 people not ADR's for 3 and 2. We had one table with 2 people on each side and one on the end.

When free dining was 1st anounced for the fall and I made our ADR for
Le Cellier, there were lots of times to choose from. Weeks later I changed the date I wanted to eat there and there was only 1 time slot left. It was actually a good one so I took it. They told me Le Cellier was filling up fast on the free dining plan!! :teeth:

I have been trying to make an ADR for ANY time lunch or dinner for 5 at LeCellier on Sept 29th, 30th or Oct 1, 2, 3 or 4. No luck. They were completey booked.

I will keep trying.

We're at WDW with dining from Sept.7-15 and I have had a very hard time booking Le Cellier as a party of 5 too. I had an 8:50 on the 8th and wanted to switch to the 14th but couldn't . I now have an 8:50 on the 12th (but I still want the 14th). They could have given me two tables on the 14th....but as its me, my dh and our 3 kids I don't really want separate tables. I probably will call back and see if I can still get it....if they try to put us at 2 tables we can always just pull a high chair up to one of them and all sit there...our youngest is only 2. I hate that they won't book us as a party of 4 even though we can still use a high chair.

I'm going to keep trying for the 14th.

I just made my ADR's for 7/17....they had early times (4:20) and late...I took 8:20....can't wait, we've never eaten here before.

I called last week to change some ADRs. The first one was for LeCellier on November 5. The CM said that LeCellier is the most popular restaurant! I wanted to change from 7pm to 8pm...no go...all booked up, so I kept the 7pm. I was, however, able to get an additional ADR for November 9th at 7:10pm.

just booked a lunch ADR last week for 11:30, the exact time I wanted. we are there Aug 18-23. no problems booking any of our ADRs. Le Cellier is the only one i waited to make (due to a change in our plans/arrival day). can't wait!

I will tell you that we experienced the crowds at meals on our last trip, which was in early December when it isn't crowded. we had ADRs for everything (party of 8) and everytime i went to check in, there were people being turned away if they didn't have ADRs....that was at both lunch and dinner, if you didn't have an ADR, you weren't getting in. I was surprised since it wasn't a busy time. :confused3

I called 180 days out for ADR's in October. I had to rearrange a couple other ADR's just to get a decent time at LeCellier. Otherwise it was either really early or really late. This was for the week of October 21-28th. I've never had much of a problem making ADR's 90 days out, so I was surprised that I had so much trouble at 180 days. This will be only our 2nd trip to LeCellier though, so maybe they've always been that tough to get in to :confused3

Many times they will tell you this, but in many ADRs with 7 people before, and being told they could give us 2 tables, we were never separated. It has to do with the way the computer books tables. All it knows is that there are 2 3-tops at 6:00 p.m., it doesn't see that those two could be combined to make 1 6-top.

Give it a go, it's well worth it.

I've been trying to book a dinner for 4 on Sept 28,29,30 and they are all full but I was able to book lunch - the Cm told me that there were openings for lunch during those dates. Maybe call back and ask for a table for 3 and 2 for lunch?

I can see how it could be booked solid while guests are still able to make ADRs during that same time period. I think people are forgetting that other guests can easily call and cancel their ADRs...therefore opening spots up. A place being booked solid doesn't mean you won't be able to get a spot, period. Just keep calling and seeing if a new one opened up.

Last week we made an ADR for September 14th at Le Cellier and only two time slots were left...4pm and 8:10pm. We were asked if we wanted to change days but then the CM corrected herself when she realized they were completely booked. She even told me that we could always call back and see if anyone has cancelled their ADR. It wasn't a big deal to us...we made it for the night originally intended since all our other ADRs have been made. It's just a good reminder to not just hope you'll get a spot somewhere if you wait to do your ADRs until its closer to vacation time...but the sooner the better. There's never a guarantee that someone WILL call and cancel their ADR.

Well with all this toalk about LeCellier, I wanted to try it. They only had one dinner time open for our party of 6 and it was at 8:40 pm. To late for us. Maybe next time.

Hi!
We are going on August 18th, for 8 days, and were told that they were booked solid. I actually was glad because we decided to take 2 tickets and go to the CGrill. Now I am really excited.

Don't fret, find something just as good or better!!!

I called and tried to change my ressie from 6:30 pm to 6:00 pm for Sept 5th and was told they were booked solid. I decided to stick with what I have.

We were lucky enough to visit DIsney 4 times last year. We could not get in once as a walk-in and they were generally booked a month or so in advance. Forget the time with free dining last year. So, last December, I made a reservation right then and there for this past February (Presidents Week) with no problem.

I made reservations for Le Cellier for this upcoming trip 180 days in advance (we are staying on points part of the time). We have since switched stuff around up through May and have not had a problem getting what we want for dinner.

Now, we are going once again in October for a long weekend and will have to call very shortly if we want this restaurant.
